Comes in handy baking at the holidays

I purchased these for proofing pizza dough balls. They are a lot less expensive than proofing boxes that are typically sold for that purpose, and these work very well. If you are making dough for an outdoor pizza oven, each one of these containers can easily hold 4-5 dough balls depending upon how large you make them. They are easy to clean. The only negative is the lid fits very snugly and can be difficult to put on. That aside, though, these are ideal for the purpose for which I purchased them.These are ideal for proofing pizza dough, but they would be equally useful for storing food items or refrigerated desserts.

Have been looking to replace a Tupperware one similar to this. Have been checking stores so was happy when I found these on Amazon. This container is bigger then the Tupperware one, which I like and at a great price.

I was looking for other products for cookie storage and transportation. What I "don't" like is so many of the choices have like locking lids, especially the plastic ones which after so much use will eventually break, that's why I got this, problem solved. And of course it's a Rubbermaid. Sturdy, well made, durable, fairly easy to clean. It's a bit more than I wanted to pay, but with prices nowadays, oh well. Very satisfied with it!

I got these containers to proof pizza balls, in the fridge and at room temperature. They hold 3 balls in an airtight container that is deep enough so the top doesn’t touch, but not so deep that it is difficult getting them. Works perfectly. Should have done it years ago.

Product is a quality Rubbermaid item, but the lid does NOT fit snuggly. If it tips with any liquid in it at all it will leak out.
