Elago Wall Mount Compatible with iPad, - Galaxy Tab and Most Tablets - Easy Installation, Cable Management (Black)

For the money, I can’t complain. I spent several weeks looking for a mount for an older iPad which we intended to uses as part of our smart home set up. Elago’s mount, fit the bill. While there are other mounts out there. The Elago mount also allows for the use of other device, although there is a caveat with that. The supplied template shows the drill holes for several different size/models of iPad, if you intend to change your mounted device to a larger size, you will need to keep the paper template for future use. The mount comes well packaged and includes the previously mentioned paper mounting template, screws and core plugs. While I found the mounting straightforward, due to the different colours used within the template, others may find this more challenging. You will also need the use of an electric drill and drill bits, in my case, masonry drill bits as I was mounting to brick work. While this mount is made of a soft plastic/silicone like material, it holds the iPad very well while allowing access to the buttons and ports. If you are mounting in the vertical, there is a gap in one mount for your charging cable. While holding the iPad firmly, I am able to remove and replace with ease. Only time will tell how the mount holds up to continual use. Other than that I am very please with the iPad wall mount.

This fits all the latest square sided iPad models absolutely perfectly. I’ve used these to mount an iPad mini and an iPad Air to the wall. It’s minimal, holds the iPad perfectly, looks great. It’s easy to install, comes with a paper guide you can stick to the wall to drill the holes. I didn’t use the included plugs as I have egg box walls, but I have plugs for my walls nobody supplies plugs that work. Really couldn’t have asked for anything more, very happy with how this works and looks. N.B. I’m sure some other tablets will fit but it’s for the iPad so if you’re getting it for another type of tablet don’t be surprised when it doesn’t work as well, it wasn’t meant for other tablets.

Was ideal for my purpose as a HA hub for the wall, using a 2019 Amazon fire 10HD. I would caution that its not a perfect fit (in my case), as it's a thicker tablet compared to a typical ipad - but that was on me for not being specific in my dimensional checks. iPad users will be very happy I imagine. Regardless, once you screw it to the wall and slide the tablet in, it works just fine. There's plenty of tension and the soft material of the tablet holder helps it mould a little to the true thickness of the fire 10 over time. Looks very professional once up and the gap behind the tablet is sufficient to guide power cables etc. Its pricey for what it is, hence 4 stars, but it had the best end result.

A great value, well made product

I loved how easy the installation for this was, they provide a template which you just level, tape to the wall and drill into. I did this within 15 minutes. The mount is tight, it holds the Ipad perfectly and the cable tidy makes running the charging cord to it clean.

Over the years I’ve tried all sorts of clunky metal ones, fancy velcro lock ones and extra secure ones but this time I needed a simple, unobtrusive solution for iPad Pro under a tv for karaoke and spotify etc. It fits the bill. Would buy again

Amazing look! Very detailed installation guide. Anchors are not very tough, got warped. A little pity is if it can also have a paste-mount option. Still an excellent product

I wanted this style of design to fit my Kindle Fire. It was worth a try at this price and works well. There is a bit of play once installed but I think that is where the soft rubber is flexible around the screws. Once tablet was fitted it was solid on wall and have no worries about the tablet falling.
