Really nice phone. Great upgrade from a Pixel 6 or older.
I went from a Pixel 6 to this phone, and even my wife (who is not the most techie person) could tell the difference in speed and smoothness. Really gorgeous screen. Fingerprint reader seems to work a TON better than my 6 did.Occasionally it gets a little warm to the touch, but not alarmingly so. You have a computer, the power of which could not be imagined even a few decades ago in your pocket. Some heat is to be expected.I normally mod my phones out with special loaders, etc. I think I'll keep the pixel launcher, because it seems quite easy to use, with an intuitive interface.

Pixel 9 (normal) is a step up improvement over the Pixel 6 (normal).
Much improved over the Pixel 6. I like it better than the Iphone options available. Buying the phone from Amazon and not a carrier lets me do what I want with the phone and not have to beg the phone company to give me access to my paid for property. If you are looking for a direct upgrade to the Pixel 6 or earlier phones but want to save some money get the Pixel 9a. I bought the normal version Pixel 9 because I had the flexibility to do so this time around. A new Pixel 6 at the time of this writing is half the price of the Pixel 9 (normal) and while it is less performance the cost to performance ratio is better.

Great phone, I like it better than Samsung ones I've had
I've loved my Google Pixel so far! I used to have a Samsung, and I liked it, but I don't think I'd go back after having this one. I love that it's pretty user friendly, ready to navigate, and the battery life is amazing (even when I use it to work). I would suggest sitting pictures and files outside of Google drive if you can, since storage can run out pretty quick if you take lots of videos and pictures. But the phone itself has great functionality, and seems very high quality. I'd recommend it for sure.

I took advantage of Prime Day.
My not so old Pixel 8 was getting the green screen of death. It was chancey and I've read that it will get worse. Prime Day rolls around and I grabbed this Pixel 9. It has some weight to it, looks fabulous in green. Snappy phone for sure. I'm glad I jumped on this deal. I really like my new Pixel 9. Great pics too. Call quality is clear. Just a lovely phone.

A Very Solid Phone, Perfect for a Backup
I bought this phone to use as a backup, and for that purpose, it's excellent. It's fast, responsive, and handles all the daily apps without any issues. The screen is nice and the battery life is reliable.Of course, it's not going to compete with my main phone (a Samsung S25 Ultra), but that's not a fair comparison. For what it is, it's a fantastic device. If you're looking for a dependable secondary phone or a great mid-range option, this is a great choice. I'm very happy with it.

I love it... But one small ick...
I'm still gonna give the phone 5 stars because I love it. It's the perfect size. Love the weight of it. Easy to set up. The camera is crystal clear and clean. Battery lasts the entire day, I don't walk with my charger. Ordered the green and it came as displayed. I can go on and on.. but let's get into one problem I've found so far...HOWEVER, one thing I've been unable to fix and I have to call Google about is when I'm typing a long email, it disappears under the keyboard and I can't see what I'm typing unless I close the keyboard or use a floating keyboard. This is annoying cuz I'm used to the screen sliding up so I can keep seeing what I'm typing. But it doesn't do that. Minimizing the keyboard doesn't help cuz it's still going to disappear under the keyboard once it reaches it. Then I have to place the floating keyboard at the top of my screen and look DOWN at what I'm typing instead of looking up and I can't type as quickly from the top of the screen cuz it feels weird. I don't want to drop my phone. Turning it sideways, same problem. So trust me, I've tried all I can try. So if someone knows how to fix this, PLEASE TELL ME. Otherwise I'll have to use my Samsung Tab to email and I don't always have it on me. So it would definitely be an inconvenience.

Great phone for the price
Really great phone. I was adept about Oneplus for many years and got tired of bugs, overall quality for a price I would quote now as premium. What I like is the size, no rounded display border, quality build, fluid software (so far everything run smooth), software support end of life....In short great deal and happy with this phone!
