These professional grade insulated binding post connectors are perfect for high end speaker or amplifier chassis mount sockets, as well as fitting to plastic or metal wall outlet plates for hi-fi and home cinema rooms. The sockets are fully shielded to prevent shorting and are supplied with colour coded isolation washers and removable blanking caps. One of the isolation washers can be notched into the mounting surface to prevent rotation of the binding post after installation. They also have a floating grip washer to prevent cable shredding when the 5mm cross-hole is used. Internal cable connection is via a solid grub screw with solder bucket, forming a reliable termination. Specification: suitable for mounting on panels up to 7mm thick, cross mounting hole diameter 5mm, hole required with insulators fitted 10mm, hole required without insulators fitted 7.5mm, overall diameter 18mm, extends 27mm from mounting surface.
