I repair shoes all the time, and when I put this order in I specifically ordered this item because it was a pak of 10 pr for $29, not $29 for 2 pr only, total rip off, The only reason I ordered them online is that I thought it would save me a 2 hour trip to get my regular supples. my regular supply cost $26 for 12 pr.

These were advertised at 13/14 size, and apparently my cowboy boots must be a bit bigger, because the heel was a little short. I still used them and they glued on great with ShoeGoo. Not too hard of rubber, and was able to trim a little off the side with a box cutter. Will update (IF I remember) once I've worn it for a while as far as how long they last. Definitely worked well so far and will consider (depending on long term wear) buying again. Update-They lasted about 6 months on daily wear, then I took my boots in for some better soles with a pro repair job.

Thought I'd give this a try since a simple rubber sole replacement at the cobbler is around $65...very pleased with how easy it all went. Outlined the needed shape, used regular scissors to cut it out, and superglued it on, (per internet recommendations). Looks good, saved a lot of money & hopefully will hold up well.

They look thicker than 1/4" but they worked. I used them to quiet down a pair of mules I ordered for myself. Since these are men's heels they were considerably larger than the flat heels of my sandals. Used a pair of heavy-duty shears to trim off what I could, glued them on then filed the rubber smooth to conform to my heel. Filing/grinding was a mess, black rubber dust everywhere; wear a mask. So far the heels are staying in place and have made my mules quite. Only wish Goodyear made them in women's sizes.
