I Think You'll Like It Too
I have been purchasing Brand "M" phones since cellular was invented. But some recent less than stellar experiences with a flimsy foldable model and poor customer service drove me to seek out an alternative. I needed a pure Android experience - because I am so comfortable with that ecosystem, a solid and substantial build, strong phone connectivity and camera performance, robust battery life, and healthy update support; all in a manageable size. After weeks of research I settled on the Pixel 9. So - doesn't look like I'll be going back to "M" anytime soon. I'm still in the learning phase in terms of features and other small nuances after jumping brands, but I really like this phone. It feels substantial in the hand, sends & receives calls without drama, has quick screen response, nice speakers, plenty of battery life, and a clean and satisfying Android operating system. Go ahead and buy it.

The Pixel 9 is a good value mid-range phone
I purchased the Pixel 9 in August. I had a Pixel 6A. To tell you the truth I was very happy with that phone. Alas, there were serious battery safety issues with it. Google issued a mandatory update & it severely throttled the battery. After that update the battery wouldn't charge to 100% & would run out of juice only after a few hours. I got a free battery upgrade, but it didn't help much. Anyway, on to the Pixel 9 review. I'm very happy with this phone. There are a few things to be chalked up as a learning curve, but it's very similar to my old 6A. Many people have complained about the black bezel around the perimeter of the screen. I have a case on my phone to protect it . Truthfully, I don't even notice the bezel. It's covered by the case. You probably wouldn't notice it either. There is a Pixel app that gives you a whole bunch of tips on how to maneuver around the phone. It's very helpful. I'm basically am not a fan of all this AI stuff so I turned off as much as I could. Haha, pretty funny & ironic for a me to get a phone that runs pretty much on AI! Lol! I have to say the phone runs great. I feel it's very user friendly. If you have a problem or question about it's operation, you can always Google the question & there's plenty of help out there. Initially, I was leaning towards purchasing the less expensive 9A. However, for some folks there were issues that they experienced with the initial boot up during set-up that wouldn't allow the phone to escape the boot up loop, & unfortunately had to return it. I didn't want that hassle. I kept my eyes open looking for a better price. Luckily I saw this listed for $599 on a special sale & I pulled the trigger & bought it. I'm so happy I did. I'm very happy with this phone so far. To me, it's way faster than my old phone. It has 12 gigs of RAM. I'm not really a gamer. I play Pokémon go on it with no problems at all. The battery size is 4700MAh. It lasts all day & longer depending on usage. I've noticed that the display is a lot brighter. It can go up to 2,700 nits when outside. There are many additional features that are useful. It has a crash detector in case you're in a car accident. It'll notify 911 (if you set that feature up) it's similar to OnStar. Another great feature is that it has the ability for you to contact 911 via satellite. This is useful if you're in an area that has no cell phone reception & experience an emergency. The features keep coming, it has it's own VPN for free. The camera (which is also very nice) there's a lot of neat things, too many to write down. There's editing tools like unblur & more. Overall this is a really good phone. I've had no problems with it. If you need a great mid-range phone, you should really consider purchasing the Pixel 9.

Good Phone, Great Camera
Bought this for my wife. The phone is aesthetic and has been holding up, so far. The compact design is what she wanted and is lightweight enough to fit what she wanted. The phone locks and unlocks smoothly. Camera is awesome.

Great phone, no junk
Google makes a great phone and does not load it up with any garbage like other makers. Wonderful camera in light or dark. Battery lasts all day and charges quickly. This is my first pixel but will not be my last. Better than my prior Samsung

It's a decent phone
I loved the prime day deal price on this phone that easily saved a couple hundred dollars. It seems to function well for the most part, but so far (1-2 months in), the screen seems to be frozen and not responsive to where my fingers are touching (this could be a simple app issue, but it's happened on different apps). The color is cute. I'm not sure how I feel about it being shorter than my previous phone (6), but it's not enough of a difference for a negative reaction. No issues transferring most of the apps and data from prior phone, but I lost some photos that didn't get transferred over. No issues entering my old sim card. Seems to charge fast and battery lasts a good while. It was new so in good condition, no problems with fingerprint reader. I've dropped it a few times without problems (might have a different outcome if I didn't have a case on it). Sound and brightness are good.

Good phone
So far I have been happy. I've been a Samsung user but the quality of my last Samsung phone was not good. This actually charges better and faster on my wireless charger base. I like the screen, and like that there are fewer bloatware apps than Samsung. It also costs about half of a comparable Samsung phone.

Perfect Phone Gift.
I got this phone for a gift, they love the color. The was the perfect phone for the price. The phone came unlocked, if that helps you choose. It's a Google phone so everything works from the factory settings, so it's really easy to use. This is a great phone for someone who just wants a phone with a little bit of options and doesn't want a top tier phone price. This is a really good mid budget phone, it just turns on and functions. The only complaint I personally have with the phone was when I was setting it up I could get rid of the Google search bar widget, apparently it is coded into their operating system.
