We have a 26 pound mini golden doodle. We install it in the middle of the back seat in our SUV. It was easy to install. It arrives compressed like many mattresses so wait a day or two before installing it. Our dog loves it and has room to sit up, look around, or stretch out and sleep. It is wider than the area one person would take up, so it would have to go on one side if you wanted to haul two people and one of them should be below average in size. Improvement suggestion would be to make the harness straps easier to adjust in length. They are time consuming to adjust.

Doesn’t fit within my seats in my Jeep Wrangler. Neither the front passenger seat nor my back seats. Might work for a truck or vans with really wide seats. The quality of the material I give 5 stars, but the side cushions weren’t very sturdy which is why I gave it a 3 plus way too wide that it falls off my jeep seats.

I haven't put it in the car yet, but it looks like A crumpled up mess. The eggshell bottom is not laying flat. The sides are not smooth like in the picture.. in fact, the material doesn't even look the same as what it was presented to be. All around disappointed. Probably will return it,
