Well-designed kit
I resisted spending the money for this, but it really did make installation in my 2005 GMC Canyon much simpler. Provides a switched hot wire that does not appear in the factory harness. Also preserves chimes and keeps the power on until you open the door (as factory.) Nicely done.

Steering wheel controls work!
Very easy install for me. The main reason I purchased this was for the steering wheel controls which worked perfectly! I also loved that this gave me switched connection without having to pull one from the fuse panel. I very highly recommend this for Chevy/GMC with steering wheel controls.
