Solid choice for NAS cache—great performance for the price
I bought two of these 1TB Kingston NV3 drives to use as read/write cache in my NAS, and after a few days of testing, they’re performing better than expected. Installation was simple (standard M.2 2280), and both drives were recognized immediately by my NAS system. So far, they’re doing a great job handling heavy read/write activity—transfers are smooth and response times have definitely improved, especially with frequent-access files and large data sets. While these are DRAM-less drives, they’ve held up well under sustained usage in cache mode.Temps stay cool even with constant operation, and power consumption is minimal, which is exactly what I need in a 24/7 setup.Pros:• Affordable and reliable PCIe Gen 4 x4 performance• Works great as NAS cache (read/write)• Low temps and low power draw• Easy setup, no hiccupsCons:• DRAM-less design might not be ideal for all workloads• Write speeds dip under very heavy sustained load (which is expected at this tier)Bottom line:If you’re building a cost-effective NAS and need a fast, reliable cache layer, these drives are a great value. They’re not high-end TLC drives, but for caching purposes, they punch well above their price point.

Great price, brand, and functionality. Entry-level SSD.
Nice budget SSD. Does everything any other M.2 NVMe SSD can do. Works great for the AMD Ryzen build I just finished.Info for Buyers🔽M.2 NVMe is the newest, fastest type of SSD. Hard drives and plug-in solid state drives are much slower.Remember: 1 TB of storage capacity is only 1000 GBs and most games these days take up anywhere from 60 to 120 GBs, sometimes more. So this is a starter SSD in terms of space.Compatible with any motherboard that has M.2 slots. Installs easily like other M.2 NVMe SSDs: slide it in, lock it down, and boom! Best in class data storage with best in class movement of said data as well.

Lightning-fast and reliable
Performance:This Kingston NVMe SSD is amazing. I’m using it as a second storage drive in my gaming PC, and it handles everything with ease. The speed is seriously impressive — loading games and transferring files feels almost instant. It’s super reliable, runs cool, and the PCIe 4.0 performance really shows. If you want fast storage that won’t bottleneck your system, this is a solid choice.

SSD so fast it deleted my Son from reality.
My son bought this for his computer, and apparently, it’s the greatest thing since sliced pan dulce. His games load faster than my comadre’s chisme, and his computer runs smoother than a freshly mopped kitchen floor before company shows up.I have no complaints—except maybe that I haven’t seen him in days. I slide food under the door like I’m in solitary. So yes, it works great. Too great, honestly.

PERFECT NVME SSD UPGRADE for an ASUS VIVOBOOK 15 X512DA
First, when deciding to upgrade the memory on your computer always buy a brand such as Crucial/Micron, Hynix/Hyundai, Kingston or Samsung. These companies are simply the finest quality producers in the world. This 1024 GB/1 terabyte/TB memory module was used to upgrade an ASUS VivoBook 15 X512DA from 128 gigabytes/GBs to 1024 gigabytes/GBs/1 TB/terabyte. You must know a little about what you are doing before attempting an NVME SSD upgrade. Increasing the amount of capacity and speed on this laptop resulted in significantly better performance because 128 gigabytes/GBs was NOT an adequate amount of capacity and speed. This upgrade literally resulted in an increase of speed for this laptop of 10 times, no exaggeration and the storage capacity was 8 times greater. You need to know how to clone the operating system, programs and data from the initial NVME SSD that came with the laptop. This is a great product at a great price.

Pretty fast for a boot drive
Easily installed this in our home/living room PC and very happy with how it’s performed. Since it’s not primarily used for gaming, it does the job fine. The size of 1TB is also fine enough for some small-sized games and miscellaneous file storage.
