Good advanced scanner
Programmed a push to start keyfob for a 2020 Nissan Altima. Scanned many modules in my 2004 Cadillac CTSV also. Found a problem in my abs system quickly. Well worth the money. I researched quite a bit before buying. With lifetime updates hard to beat for this price range. The wireless connector would be nice but not worth another an extra 100 when this one does all the same functions.

Very good Deal
Im pretty familiar with scanners....i went through quite a bit of features and to get myself familiarized where to go to get what i want. there is a Demo car that gives quite a bit of details too. so far so good. the new updates lets you put a different screen shot on the opening page. in stead of that monkey, you can instal your own pic. The graphing section will be good to do a quick diagnose of certain glitches but will need indepth tools to see whats going on like a pico scope. but for the price, cant beat it. my snap on Solos Edge is still usful up to 2020. updates are over 1500. no way. it took me 2 months to decide on which scanner to get, i looked at a lot of em. this is the best deal out there for the features. time will tell. update: the system i wanted takes time to load, if you back out for any reason, it starts over again. its a learnig curve like anything. it'll be good for certain things.

Inconsistent data streams
I bought this product hoping it would work, however what I found was just the opposite. When I plugged this in to my 2000 f350, the auto vin search didn't work, so I entered the information manually, (not a big deal). I went to actuations (which is the bidirectional part or tests that this tool claims it can do), "not supported" was the message that came up. Which is a real bummer, cause that reduces this unit to nothing more than something that can read live data streams, which is helpful but severely cripples is usefulness. Next I went to live data streams on the PCM. What i found is the data streams where inconsistent. They would spike up, down, or drop out when viewing them. The pictures show this. The pickup is idling during all this with no check engine light on, running good. This is my daily driver. If you look at the pictures you'll notice that two of the data streams are engine oil temp. and transmission fluid temp., both of which is impossible to spike like that. Also note that I have other scanners that show no spikes in these streams at all, which would be consistent with a good running, no cel, daily driver. So I emailed ThinkCar. I sent them multiple different tests and screen shots. Due to the type of issue I was having they escalated my problem to the engineers. After a week of back and forth, this is thier final email. Dear customer: Hello, I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. This car is a PWM protocol model and cannot download AB data. According to the log, you select the data stream and verify that the software and the special inspection calculation are consistent, and the data stream is consistent. I suggest you choose a test that is more accurate. Thank you, Overall, my experience with thinkcar is not a good one, and when they simply try to blame me for not using thier tool right is thier solution, is disappointing. They claim consistent data when I clearly showed them the opposite. This tool that can't do actuations, had inconsistent data streams, and not good customer service renders this tool nothing more than a expensive frustration.

Nice affordable bidirectional scanner
Best bidirectional scan tool for the money it was brand new in the box with a security seal comes in a nice protective carry case it has so many vehicles and options some functions doesn't work on certain vehicles on this device but think car has a built in support to report and fix issues in the system you just have to have it connected to WiFi it has free lifetime updates unlike most of the bidirectional scanners it's speed is quite quick when operating scans it's fairly easy to use if you're familiar with bidirectional scanners for the price it was worth it

Functions
A practicable scan tool to use with the ease and comfort of diagnosing a cars problems. I would of gave this five stars if there was more support for 2018 Honda Civic with functions. But the most needed functions are there. I enjoyed the gorilla as a company logo when I turned this scan tool on for the first time. Interesting. In addition, this scan tool covers most functions in your car. Older cars like mine, there are things I would of liked to see support in: ECU reset, able to turn sensors off and on. There are some things things that can be turned off/on and tested. But the majority for 10th gen Civic H.B. are limited in special functions. Overall, it works well with the extras of live support and lifetime updates. But I feel these updates will probably cover newer vehicles than older vehicles. Only time will tell. But for now. I am satisfied with my purchase and plan to use the key coping function quite a bit since I seem to lose my keys a lot. Also, the ease of use is easy. It has good grip and the weight of the scan tool is lite but not to heavy. The touchscreen reacts well, but at times have to press a few time for the corner of the screen to respond. The internal memory is decent. Be aware when you install the extra assistant item that help with diagnosing the car or information or using the tablet for internet. It will use a lot of memory and slow performance time. Install what you need only. You can install everything to try it and ease the extras later. Lastly, before doing any updates. Look at the functions available for your vehicle first and scan option functions. A lot depends on if you have a newer or older vehicle these updates will apply to. A good scan tool for the price. But this is not my last one to buy. I have other brands to try as well to see what offers the most for my car, unless you buy Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) that was made for Honda only.

Worth every penny!!!
I love this thing. It's worth every penny. I went to go buy a vehicle, and I always scan with my regular cheap 49$ scanner. This time, I brought this. I'll let you know, it's a little slow. But, I did do a full system scan and it produced AMAZING results. I was able to isolate every engine, transmission, BCM trouble code. Given the amount of money I was going to pay for this vehicle, I gladly passed on it. So, this thing saved me from buying a 60K car that probably needed 10K in repairs. It also does certain things that most home mechanics cannot do. Like being able to release brakes for newer vehicles while performing break maintenance, recalibration of things like the throttle position sensor, windows, cloning/programming key fobs, and many other fantastic things normal people don't have the ability to do, and mechanics have to pay thousands per year to be able to do. Anyways, in my opinion, this might be the BEST deal on the market.

Buena compra
Llegó en excelente estado y hasta ahora funciona de maravilla, en algunos autos chinos se pone un poco lento, hay que actualizar el software del sistema para corregir algunos fallos

Good fault finder
Really brilliant diagnostic kit. East to plug and play. Options to identify car make and model. Brought up old cleared faults as well as new faults linked to the engine management light that annoyingly appeared on our Mercedes. Worked out quickly what it was linked to, save a very expensive garage trip. I havent had much comparison to alternative products but I was very pleased at the user friendly interface and the design and build of the device itself. Comes in a nice carry case too
