These are nice and thick on the heel portion of the insert. I've been getting pain on the bottom of my heel and this definitely helps to dampen the pain after a long day on my feet. They do have a slight arch support, it's not very high but it does help to support that part of your foot. I received the size small which was for a woman's 61/2 to 11, and I wear a size 10 in women's. I have to admit for tennis shoes it is rather narrow, which would be perfect for dress shoes, but now that I'm using them in tennis shoes I wonder if I shouldn't have gone up a size. For those who are using low or shallow shoes these might be a little too thick. Other than that these are fantastic and give great cushion throughout the heel area. The bottom of the insert also is a slightly tacky type of plastic which will help keep it in place.

These inserts provide good arch support with soft but firm support at the heels. It also provides great shock absorption and reduces the pressure on the heels during daily activities. It can fits into multiple shoes with different shapes, effectively alleviate discomfort and promote the natural foot leveling. It reduces the pain on the heels due to incorrect foot positioning that is great for both daily activities and workout like running.

These are really really strong arch support. They've got a lot of resistance, and a lot of shape, and they're pretty thick, I don't think they'd work with some of my snugger shoes at all, and would be an overkill in shoes that had any arch support of their own. I ended up using these in a pair of slippers, and they worked well there, of course, the slippers had no arch support of their own at all.I would give this 3 stars or less for me, but if you're looking for a LOT of arch support, they're good, I would guess 5 stars. In fact, they have some other good features - the heel ball is slip resistant so they stay in place, they are obviously durable, for half length arch supports they taper down well, and it's easy to forget where they stop and the shoe starts, the transition is so smooth. So be sure of what you want when you order these. They could be great, or they could be unusable.

This heel insert has good cushioning and feels like it would provide support for a variety of foot issues. My problem was that the heel cups were so thick that I couldn't get it comfortably in my shoes without the insert pushing my foot out of the shoe when I walk. I really wanted this insert to work. I'm giving it 3 stars because I feel like I'm not the only one what will have this problem.
