Very handy to have and clean the lenses while protecting at the same time.

I don't think VR hardware companies stress enough how susceptible VR screens are to damage from light. You should be storing your headset inside a cabinet with a door. If you have to keep it out at sunnier times of the day, use something like this to keep the screen protected. Yeah, you can probably throw a blanket over it or something but be careful with overheating.I guess I don't care if you DIY a home solution or use this one, but I will say that this one is really nice. I have confidence in it protecting the screen without scratching it or covering too much of the headset. My day job means I can't just leave the headset in the closet until the sun goes down, and this also doesn't create additional desk clutter like other solutions would. It's a nice accessory. I recommend it.

TLDR: I've tried lots of different lens covers and have always found some sort of issue or drawback, this really is the only one I've found that does everything perfectly.I always use a lens cover to make sure my lenses don't get burned out from sun exposure or scratched while in a case. This is the first one I've found that has one side that is as soft as a lens cloth and as a bonus it absorbs some moisture (you know what I mean with the small smudges that are left on your lenses after they've been too close to your eyes).The side that sits against your lenses is a suede like material that definitely will not scratch your lenses and the inside is a thick foam pad you can let it sit against the lenses instead of leaving a space like with others I've tried. It's also rigid enough that it doesn't keep falling out.**I'm not saying you should EVER use this to wipe or clean your lenses. Get a Kola Cloth for that.I've tried some hard covers with my Valve index and they ended up scratching the lenses. When I tried using a of soft lens cover from different brand with my Quest 3 it was way too thin and the material was woven so I wasn't comfortable letting it sit against the lenses - so it just constantly fell out and is basically useless.This one is easy to clean and doesnt develop hard or rough spots if you hand wash it with a drop of soap and let it air dry.

I'm paranoid about exposing my Quest to sunlight. I usually wrap it in a t-shirt and stick it in a cubby just to make sure it stays in vampire mode. Using this cover eases my sunlight fear and keeps the dust out. I give it two hand controllers up!

It's arguable whether this type of accessory is necessary, but I'm always a little overprotective about scratching things like lenses, so I figured it couldn't hurt to use it. It is super easy to pop it in and out of the quest 3, and stays in place when it's there. It's soft and will protect the lenses not only from anything that bumps up against it but also help with dust accumulation.

i have never fully grasped the idea behind these, but i got one anyway. they work, i guess. they cover the eyes and that is what thhey do.

Does exactly what you'd expect, keeps your lenses protected whilst not in use! Great quality microfibre which is soft so no risk of scratching your lenses. I would highly recommend this for any quest user!

It definitely protects the lenses, which is great, although it doesn't seem to wipe them off very well. I still need to use a dedicated cloth to get all the bits off of the lenses. Don't get this thinking that you'll be able to get away with no need for a cloth. If you want something that protects your lenses and doesn't scratch them, then this is perfect
