The longer brush in this kit is really long, which is of course why I bought it. Seemed like exactly what I needed to scrub CPAP tubing, rather than just soaking it in soapy water. But the wire cable of the brush is a wrapped wire that is basically a tightly wound spring, so A: it's not stiff enough to easily push past maybe 3 feet, and when you try to remove it from the tubing, the cable stretches, making it difficult apply enough force to get the brush unstuck. You feel like you might break the brush head off if you pull too hard, and then you'd have a ruined CPAP tube with a brush lodged permanently lodged in it.These ventilator tubes are too expensive to take that risk for me. I wish this cable was sheathed in plastic and maybe make of nylon or fiberglass or something a little stiffer with a lot less stretch.

This should come with every CPAP machine. We have brushes to clean our straws, why wouldn’t the CPAP machines come with brushes to clean the inside of hoses and masks. I wish I had found this sooner! Everything is made of good quality materials. Comes with adhesive pieces to attach holder to the wall. I love that they give you two holders. It would be nice to have some sort of travel bag to put it in so it’s covered when traveling. Definitely recommend this product.

I won't tell you about all those odd things I tried, but lets just say that I finally broke down and got this set of hooks and brushes. I had to laugh how easy this made it to finally get my hose off the floor/bed/nightstand, etc. so that I wouldn't step on it or have it in the way. The hooks are plastic, but sturdy. They come with a transparent 2 sided sticky tape that sticks to the hook and the surface you want to attach it to, so no drilling or gluing.I would be lying if I said I got this kit for the brushes, they were just a nice add. The long one is actually really handy and reaches pretty far into the tubing for a nice scrub.If you want some CPAP hose organization (and cleaning of), I would recommend these!

I needed this set so bad and didnt even know it! I thought that running hot water through the hose is all that I needed to do for cleaning. I have only been on CPAP for about 1 month so far so there is still a of things I am learning on my own that the doctors didnt bother to tell me. I looked for something to clean my hose and to hang the hose and mask somewhere out of the way so that I wouldnt step on it or sit on it. I could not believe that something so important and convenient was not discussed with me. Anyway, I have this set now and I am so much better for it. The brush is a perfect length to really get down into the hose and clean it well. I dont need both of the hooks to hang the hose, so I use the extra hook to hang the cleaning brush once I am done with it.This set is perfect to help in cleaning the CPAP system. I feel so much better knowing that my CPAP is deeply cleaned!

I would always run hot soapy water through my hoses to clean my CPAP. In my brain, I knew this probably wasn't a great solution and that I was missing small areas that may have developed a film where bacteria would grow. The brush was what I've been needing all along!Would order again!
