Filmcity multi-functional and protective cage for your Sony A6500 camera is made from one piece of high-grade CNC machined aluminum. It allows easy access to all the vital control buttons of the camera including the battery port. There is exactly perfect spacing for the lens and prevent your camera from overheating. Your camera is secured in a cage with a 1/4''-20 screw at the bottom and an M2.5 screw on the side. It has an Anti-Twist feature which prevents your camera from moving in unwanted directions. A multi-threaded sturdy Top Handle with cold shoe makes the cage easy to carry around, Cable clamp on the side provides strain relief for the cables and Side NATO Rail with threads for mounting NATO compatible accessories; makes it a complete setup. The cold shoe on the cage enables your camera to firmly attach to accessories like articulating arm, EVF, microphone, etc. The ARCA baseplate at the bottom of the cage is compatible with ARCA Swiss QR plate and can be mounted directly onto the ARCA QR adapter. This baseplate also allows attaching other quick release plates. The robust 15mm Rod support adds versatility and allows mounting accessories like matte box; follow focus, etc. for expanding the setup. Tripod mounting base plate has 1/4"-20 threaded hole for standard tripods.
