Q: I want to record songs off of youtube on my computer onto cassettes using a microphone.Can I do that with this unit?

I used to, using alligator clips. That wasn't very sophisticated, was it? I was just a 19 year old kid then. What would be easiest is get a youtube downloader (they usually are free, but only give you a trial membership, $10 for a monthly after that). Then download the .mp3 to your computer and using alligator clips or a more sophistacated method from your ear hole in the computer. Does that make sense? Often I do to myself, but others are WHAT?

Q: Does this cassette player come with a USB plug so you don't have to use batteries?

The vintage cassette player comes with an AC cable, so you can use this AC cable for power supply, It does not need batteries when the cassette player works with the AC cable.
