I have been using Otterbox cases on my phones for many years. I used to use the ultra-rugged Defender Series, but with how large phones have become, it makes the phone overall too large. I had a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus at one point that I had purchased the Otterbox Commuter Series case for, and loved the case, so when I saw it available for this phone, I purchased it immediately.PROSDouble layer protection, without adding an insane amount of bulk to the phone. The Defender Series can add so much to the phone, what with modern phones, they become much too large. The Commuter Series keeps a lower profile.The hard part of the case is on the outside, instead of the inside like on the Defender Series. When taking a phone with the Defender Series out of my pocket, the outer part of the case would want to grip to my pants. The hard shell of the Commuter Series makes taking my phone out of my pocket a breeze.I can still use my tempered glass screen protector with my phone. Older Otterbox cases made it pretty difficult to use any other screen protector other than their own, but this case keeps your screen free and clear of obstructions. My Zagg tempered glass screen protector fits perfectly.This case is manufactured by our North American brethren south of the border in Mexico. It doesn't make too much of a difference, nut it's nice to know that this was made MUCH closer to home.CONSThe outer shell feels thinner and a bit more flimsy than the older Commuter cases. The outer shell on this one is abnormally flexible, and seems to not fit perfectly in the inner silicone part of the case. That being said, it's such a minor issue that I don;t really care that much, as long as it will withstand a few drops.VERDICTOverall, it is still an Otterbox case, and as such, has the quality and feel that customers would expect from such a company. Despite some small changes to the overall feel, it's still as solid as ever, and feels even better than it ever has, being a bit slimmer and more streamline. An excellent addition to any new phone.

I love Otter Box cases. They protect my phone very well. No matter how many times I have dropped my phone, not once has it cracked or broken. The case has even survived being accidently ran over by an electric wheel chair.

Great protection for my phone, but it's a hassle if you try to consistently use a magnetic connection to charge your phone.

Works perfectly

I've had this case about a month and it's good so far! It works well with a screen protector and feels sturdy. I was a little thrown by the packaging (or lack of) but I reached out to OtterBox and confirmed it's authentic. Feels protective without being too bulky.
