This was my first experience using a steam sauna. It is very easy to put together. The poles are much thicker and more durable than I was expecting. It goes together similar to a tent. Once you have it set up you fill the steamer with water. It takes anywhere from 3-10 minutes to really start steaming. Just depends on how much water you fill it with. Once it starts steaming it takes a few minutes to get the pod full of steam and up to a good temperature. I was able to maintain around 90% humidity at 110 degrees for the 15 min I sat inside of it. I was really impressed with how well it retained the heat and steam. There was little to no leakage at the seams. Overall this is a great option for a steam sauna at home. I also want to note the first package I received was missing some parts. The seller reached out quickly and sent a new kit. They were great to work with and are really focused on customer satisfaction. I would definitely buy from this seller again!

This portable steam sauna is a modern version as compared to the large steam rooms found at gyms or like ones on TV.Though it's tall enough for me to stand, the ergonomic chair that's included makes "getting a steam" so comfortable and relaxing. The unit's construction is solid and well made. The engineers did a nice job!Heating time is quick. This unit has 1200 watts which is on the higher end of what is available.It is portable and could be taken down each time you use it. However, I'd recommend finding a room where you can either keep it in one place permanently or possibly move it into a closet/storage area when not in use so as to not have to set it up every time you want to use it.PRO TIP: If you want to use essential oils or herbs, do NOT put them in the steamer water itself.
