Windmill Window Air Conditioner - Quiet & Smart, Easy Install, Voice-Enabled, Remote & App Control AC Unit - 5,000 BTU Lite

Everything about this AC is incredible, but the only thing I've found bad is that it reads the room temp on the app incorrectly, and the filter can easily bend and be a hassle to properly set in. Build quality is nice, keeps the temp I want in the room consistent even with a gaming PC in my room.

Honestly? I'm pretty impressed with even the "lite" 5000 btu unit. It's a touch noisy on low, but it absolutely does the thing and cools well. The sounds it makes are consistent and easy to sleep to (even on eco which stops and starts the unit 100%) Overall, this is a solid unit. The only minor downside is it was a bit weird fitting into my window. I had to position the top back further than I normally do on the outer-most window "lip" to get a proper tilt. The manual mentioned screwing a board to the window for storm windows which seemed... extra.

I was worried it might not be powerful enough since it’s a smaller unit, but it cools my room super quickly. The setup was really easy, everything you need comes in the box, and I had it up and running by myself in under an hour. I also love how it looks. Most window ACs are bulky and kind of ugly, but this one actually blends in with my space and doesn’t stick out like an eyesore. One of my favorite features is the app. I like being able to adjust the temperature while I’m out, so I can come home to a nice, cool room. The lights on the unit also auto-dim at night, which is a nice touch when I’m trying to sleep. If you’re looking for a small, quiet, and modern-looking AC that actually works really well, I’d totally recommend this one.

It's not quiet. It's actually very loud. The picture shows no buttons on the front. That's what sold me to buy this product. Because I have 2yr old twin boys that destroy just about everything they touch. Including last year's unit. Guess what there buttons. All kinds of buttons!!!

We got the windmill windows air conditioner for my husband's office and so far we are very pleased. It is packaged very well upon arrival. Its light weight weighing around 15ish pounds. Its very energy efficient, and cools the room down to a very comfortable level, and it seems to be very durable . My husband was able to easily install it with about 30 mins. Hes not a big fan of the app and doesn't use it much. Overall we are very pleased with this unit and the price is very reasonable .

Got this window AC for my office which is the room has the smallest airflow in the entire house. I’m working in that room for years now, and been fighting with the hot air every day. My husband helped me installed this AC, he said it’s easy to install, instructions were clear, only took him about an hour to do the job. The AC unit is really heavy so you do need at least two or three people to help to ensure and secure the unit in the window. When you turn on the AC, the default mode is cool, you can set the temperature between 61-88 Fahrenheit. They have three different mode, cool, eco and fan for your needs. For fan you also have low, medium and high airflow. You can download their APP for a convenient way to control the AC.

Not as quiet as advertised but it works

This Windmill A/C unit fit perfectly in the window of a trailer that I rent out to tenants. I gave it 4 stars due to the left accordion panel being disconnected from the outside of the frame, cutting my fingers up trying connect it myself and then going through the email process with customer service. It was a daunting task trying to get the precise information to them. I was sceptical that I'd get what I needed, but they came through and gave me both the right and left panel replacements when I only needed the left. They were both firmly attached and I was very pleased in the end. The price point was reasonable compared to other air conditioners that I reviewed and it does a great job cooling the room without being too noisy. It's easy to use and function well. It also comes with a remote and an app that allows you to turn on the unit well before you arrive home. I would highly recommend this unit to others despite the slight manufacturing assembly error.
