ASICSWomen's Gel-Kayano 31 Running Shoes

I'm a daily walker (streets and sidewalk) and occasional runner. My husband (a runner) recommended these to me, and although I was hesitant to spending that much on a pair of shoes, I have to say that they are extremely comfortable, they offer great support and my foot feels snug yet contained. They have a taller sole than my previous NB shoes have, and that was strange at first, but after using them for one day, that no longer bothered me.I got the orange and white and they look pretty neat. I haven't washed them yet but might post a review update when I do.Pros:- lightweight- room in the toebox (I always order a size up for running shoes)- laces don't slide/become undone and stay put- no heel slip- good arch support- great sense of balance/stability- soft yet durable materials (so far)- good traction on sole- aesthetically pleasingCons- price (if you're on a budget - I got mine on sale on a Prime day)- white fabric may not stay white- shipping took 10 days (would have like to have them sooner, but that was ok)I really really like them and would recommend them to anyone who is undecided or on the fence, I don't think you'll regret it.

I have wide/normal feet, high arches and work 12hr shifts. These shoes were perfect and I tried on and tested several before settling on these. I usually wear an 8 but first time trying ASICS I ordered and 8.5. They were nice and roomy. Nothing tight so I kept them but now in hindsight I would have probably prefered an 8. Overall they feel excellent and have a nice toe drop. The white are beautiful!

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable it feels like I’m walking on pillows. I ordered an 8.5 and they fit true to size. The colors are really pretty and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them.I searched all over the internet to find shoes for my feet. I have overpronation and they provide all the comfort and stability I need. My feet and legs have never hurt when I get done my shift. I am a RN and work 12+ hours on my feet.Only one complaint is that they are a little squeaky at times.

I have been getting a new pair of kayanos for about 20 years. This year's model feels really nice and cushy but the bottom is very different than prior years and they squeak every single step in airports and stores. It is weird

The regular width is quite narrow on my toe box, and they don't ship the wide ones in our country. Moreover, something is off about the bulky cushioning --- the way it fits my entire feet, and support my body, especially my lower back. It triggered my back pain (sciatica/ priformis condition). I returned it on Nov 27. The item has been received back by Amazon on Nov 29, per courier notification and website tracker, but the refund has remained unprocessed at their end. Customer support, with human interaction (not bots) in Amazon is practically non-existent.Please bring back the old Kayanos (27 and below). Their cushioning, and style were so much better. The fit in Asics shoes have always been a hit and miss --- please fix your sizing, or at least, your sizing chart.

I have tried several different shoes from different brands- Nike, brooks, saucony etc- in search of a running that shoe that supports my ankles-which tend to overpronate- and heels that need support. I've done about 4 runs with this shoe so far and have really felt the difference. My ankles aren't sore by the end of the run or having twinges of pain during, and my heels feel well cushioned. Certain shoes have either helped increase my speed or have led to a decrease for whatever reason- these did not detract from my speed and I think after a couple more runs with them I'll be able to continue my progression with speed increases.

Love these shoes! The ASICS Kayano came recommended by many online reviews. Bought them to get back into running after injuries and issues with previous shoes. Tried the older model (30) but this one is even better. Feels like a slipper and like you’re walking on clouds. Can’t wait to try them out running! Only thing was Canada Post service in my area. It’s always longer then it should be. It was delivered to one city and coded as ‘attempted delivery and wrong address’ when delivery was never attempted. I was asked to confirm my address. After doing so, it was transferred to other city same distance from us and delayed delivery by 2 days. I know this is only due to Canada Post boundaries and not because it was a wrong address.

Best pair of running shoes I have ever owned. Great comfort and arch support.

Just what I was looking for. Really comfortable and helps with my over pronation. Fast delivery considering they came from the states. Excellent price.
