I am super satisfied with my purchase of the Typhur temperature probe. I decided to purchase it based on reviews by YouTube channel BBQ'ers that I follow and trust, and I will tell you what, I was rewarded.!! There are several features that set this apart not the least of which is the speed at which it produces the temperature readout and the accuracy at which it is able to do so. Add to that a digital display that is large and clearly easy to read AND one that automatically inverts itself as you manipulate the display in your hand, i.e. as you might turn your hand one way or the other to probe the meat you are cooking the display will always give you a right-side-up view! Really a nice touch! It also boasts a strong magnetic base, so once placed onto either side of the refrigerator in your house or the side of your barbecue grill, it makes itself very conveniently available when needed!

I was tired of using the wired digital thermometers because they die in such a short time, even the better brands. This one had good reviews, and I can see why. It is easy to use and is good quality. It registers quickly and accurately. It is easy to wipe clean with a soapy sponge and dry. They only issue I found is that it doesn't register twice. If you check the temperature of the center of a roast, then try to rake the temp at the end of the roast, it does not register accurately the second time. I have needed to close the thermometer back into the handle and open it again to take a second temperature. It works like a jack-knife to open and close and fits easily in a small-medium hand. Otherwise I like it and continue to use it, but wipe it with a cloth or paper towel before closing it and reopening to use it twice.

The temperature is accurate and fast. It is nice that it folds up and sticks to the fridge when not in use. The display is very large and readable.

Love this functions as described I’ve been using it for about six months. The battery is still not dead and I use it every day generally. Very accurate, very easy to use. Love that I can just stick it on the fridge.

I didn’t want to spend the money for a good instant read thermometer but found that I was continually frustrated with my cheaper model. Caused my oven to lose too much height and my hand to burn when I was trying to use it. This one is much more affordable than other instant read thermometers and seems just as good. It provides instantaneous temperature readings just as promised. I am very pleased with it.

Excellent thermometer. Typhur has been my favorite for remote thermometers for the BBQ, as I switched from that other brand; the same quality and performance is evident in this thermometer.
