Does this have the Caterpillar face? Some images seem to show it without a caterpillar face.

There was no caterpillar face on the one that I received.

What type of wood are your toys made from? Are they from sustainable forests ie. not adding to deforestation? Thanks

Well, the packaging says that these stacking rings are made in China from sustainable wood (I don't know which kind) with non-toxic and environmentally-friendly paints. I have to say that this toy has lasted incredibly well, has given a lot of pleasure to a child who was well under 2 when he started playing with them and is still enjoying them now he's rising 4. The board into which the pegs are fixed is extremely well designed as the pegs are pliant and bend helpfully to help a child use them.

Is this too old for my two year old

The wooden stacking and counting rings is classified for 3 years plus. However it is also safe for children under 3 years old because all the rings and tiles are bigger than the choking hazard testing tube. It is perfect for 2 years old first to learn colours, stacking then later numbers, counting and matching etc. It is a great educational toy for children and also as gift. It is top quality and substantial size.
