Small, Accurate, and Super Handy USB Tester!
I wanted to test all of my USB cables and figure out which ones were holding back the performance I needed. I simply wanted to check voltages for charging, not data, or video Here’s my experience: After using this tool for a couple of months, I was pleasantly surprised. It has a super small form factor, feels well-built, and has proven to be accurate. I've tested many cables and I'm happy to report that it hasn’t limited power throughput at all. 🔬 Testing Parameters Device: USB tester connected to several cables Power Source: Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 (4500Wh battery backup) Scenario: Previously measured about 95W charging output to a laptop from the Ecoflow panel PROS: ✅ Super small and portable: Easy to carry and use anywhere ✅ Very bright display: Easy to read in most lighting conditions ✅ Scrolls through key metrics: Voltage, wattage, and amperage ✅ Solid connectors: Good physical build quality ✅ Minimal impedance: No noticeable restriction on power flow CONS: ❌ Fast scrolling: Data points cycle quickly, making it hard to catch one metric for very long 🔎 CONCLUSION I would highly recommend this tester if you're looking for simple measurements of power throughput. After plugging the same cable into this inline tester, I saw similar wattages as without it (as shown in the video and pictures). Honestly, I was expecting more impedance at higher wattages, but even after leaving the tester in place for a while, there was no noticeable temperature rise or performance drop. This has earned a place in my laptop bag!

Does what it says
Works well, I like it. I can use it to see volts, amps, and total watts. As a side note it only stays powered on when connected to any non-PD source. When it's connected to a PD USB-C the display doesn't output details until you actually make a connection to a downstream device. I give the device some slack because I don't know how you can make something so compact without some compromises and it's not really that big of a deal: it may not plug into phones with chunky cases. I can say it works with the Killswitch case on my steam deck. I was using it to test how much pass through power an external monitor was sending downstream. So I can confirm it supports DP alt mode. Another note is that when your device is at 100% and you're not actively using your phone/whatever it only switches back and forth from Volts and Amps if your amps is at zero then your device is correctly turning down power from the charger. The display seems like it randomly switches between all three units but I think there is a method to its madness (I'm not sure but I think it switches over to whatever unit is 'updating' the most), but it would be cool to have manual control however like I said before credit where it's due, for the price and size pretty good deal. The display for the units I believe update in real time.

240w USB C Power Meter
This meter is OK, but it reads too high. When the current is 700ma it reads 1000ma, which is about percent higher. That means it also overestimates the power. The real power was 3.4 watts yet it shows 5.0 watts. My other meters do not do that. However, it does have some pros too. For one, it never shuts off even if not plugged into a phone. That means you can see the voltage "5.1v" even if it is not plugged into the phone yet. Some of my other meters will shut off completely. It does not show any watts, but it still shows the voltage and zero current which is better than completely shutting off. It also has a clear display, and cycles from volts to amps to watts by itself, but there is no apparent way to get it to stay at one measurement like watts. Overall though the prices is good and it does show if the phone is charging or not, and it may get more accurate as the power level goes up maybe 10 watts or more. I like to charge at lower power now (5 watts or less) because I have had too many battery problems with phones in the last 10 years. It makes me wonder why manufacturers allow charging at such high levels like 45 watts, which surely must tax the type of batteries being used in phones today. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's inaccurate at the current levels I have to deal with. I tested two identical units and they were both the same.

Works and are nice size.
I have a bigger one with one with more features, but these are nice they cyle through watts, amps, and volts and they fit into tight openings for USB-c

Measurements seem to off when compared to the reading from other devices.
I recently got my hands on this excellent USB-C voltage meter tester adapter, and it's been incredibly useful. The Power Digital LED Display Design makes monitoring wattage a breeze, ensuring my devices are always in good shape. The 240W PD Fast Charging & 40 Gbps Data Transfer guarantees my MacBook and other USB-C devices are always powered up and running smoothly. The Universal Compatibility is impressive, working seamlessly with my iPhone 15. However, I've noticed a slight misalignment with some of my more expensive devices, occasionally showing a mismatch of greater than 5 watts. Overall, this 2-pack USB-C tester power meter adapter has it's uses for a quick cheap way to see how much power your device is consuming but don't lean on its accuracy too heavily. I would recommend if you need a quick cheap way to visualize charging speeds.

The Tiniest [and cutest] Multimeter In My Toolbox
This is a very tiny, in-line, USBC-to-USBC, Voltage, Amperage & Wattage meter. I have used it on my laptop, and my phone, to watch its charging current & voltage, and it seems to match closely with the external charger's readout. The small display cycles through Voltage, Current & Wattage. I primarily use it to identify cables which are not charging well any more. I can take two of my trusty cables & discover one of them may not be performing as well as the other. As said, it is tiny, and will be very easy to lose, so I have to keep track of it among my many cables, batteries, connectors & chargers.

Works well
These work very well however you gotta make sure you don’t lose them because they’re so small. I like to see what my devices are charging at.
