JTT Scenery Products Plastic Pattern Sheets: Dressed Stone

if you look at my photo, the beige is an actual HO scale model with building bricks, 1:87 scale. if 1:100 is smaller then something is wrong. i plan to use this in a far background on my train layout so it will give depth perception. Just wanted to leave a not that it doesnt match. NOT even close.

Product not as advertised

In fairness let me clarify: I know nothing about trains or the 'scale' used to measure these things.I bought these Pattern Sheets to make impressions in clay, wanting to created walls and roads in my own style to be used in a fairy garden. I was delighted with the design I saw here. I didn't realize the photo was an extreme "close-up" particularly since the size of the pattern sheets are quite generous: 7.5 x 12 x 0.1 inches.So I received these 12 inch sheets and did a double-take ... did they send me the wrong sheets? where's the pattern? On the actual sheet the pattern is so miniscule that you can barely see it.So if you're looking at this item to create textures in a tiny model train layout, I guess it's ok. You can cut it out (it is a sturdy plastic) and paint it to suit your needs. But the patterning is so small and so fine that it cannot possibly work to imprint clay.
