Works great in my Honda 6 speed automatic transmission.
Did triple drain and fill with MaxLife ATF on our 2014 Odyssey EX-L 18k ago and was satisfied with the change from OEM ATF but, there was a difference in how it operated. I just did the same thing with the Idemitsu type H-Plus which is supposed to be totally OEM spec at a lower price than OEM. I am very pleased with the result whereas the shifting has smoothed out as have all the other undesirable little quirks. Most owners of vehicles that use DW-1 fluid fear using anything but OEM fluid but I would say "do not fear the H-Plus." It is as good and MAYBE better. But do your own research. All I can do is tell you about my experience.

Good stuff and shifts great
Knowing is half the battle And it did and is doing just fine in my transmission in an 05 Honda CRV , Idemitsu is considered a premium, top-tier motor oil. It is one of the largest lubricant manufacturers in the world and serves as the primary factory-fill (OEM) oil supplier for many major Japanese automakers, including Honda, Mazda, Nissan, and Subaru

On the fence between DW1 and Idemitsu
Seemed to work fine for 25000 miles until lately where I'm getting some bump downshift from 3-2. I looked at the MSDS for both and the genuine honda fluid (made by Idemitsu) has a viscosity: @ 40C = 24.94 cSt; @ 100C = 6.84 cSt.(MSDS from 7/2014), and the Idemitsu H+ has a viscosity of: @ 40C = 34.88 cSt; @ 100C = 7.33 cSt.(MSDS from 8/2017). Some of the lower reviews are questioning longevity. My first couple of drain and fills (every 24k) were DW1 and I had no problems ever. It's now time for the next 24k change, and I'm sensing tiny weird behaviors in the trans in addition to the downshift bump.

Good Honda ATF replacement
Good replacement for Honda ATF. Did atf change on my civic and check engine went away

Used in a 2008 Honda Fit.
Seems great. The shame of it is if you change your transmission fluid at home and don’t have a flushing machine you have to waste some of this fluid during a 3 stage change process. No biggie. The old car shifts gear nicely and is good for another 100,000 kms.

Best replacement at a better price.
Seems to be the best replacement for Honda’s transmission fluid. I believe after my research, that they are a Japanese company, that is making the perfect bland, to match what Honda used for their transmission.
