Bought this as a Christmas present and it was very well received as Martell is a delicious blend apparently. You would have to pay me to drink it, but the recipient was extremely pleased and this was a much better price than I found anywhere else online and at Christmas, overspending is not an option I can afford. Would recommend as a gift for an older gent.

Bought these before, a nice smooth cognac, some can be harsh and woody in flavour, this is the opposite, great on its own or with a mixer.

Rezension: Martell VS Fine Cognac
Mein erstes Stück aus der Welt des Martell VS Fine Cognac hat mich sofort überrascht. Schon der braune, warme Farbton im dunklen Glas versprach Tiefe und Charakter. Beim Öffnen des blauen Bands und dem Herausziehen des Korkens kam mir ein Duft entgegen, der bereits Lust auf den ersten Schluck machte – der Korken allein roch schon hervorragend, fruchtig und würzig zugleich. Im Glas zeigte der Cognac eine schöne Note von Früchten, begleitet von Gewürzen, die sich harmonisch miteinander verbinden. Der erste Schluck war dann der Moment, der mich wirklich überzeugt hat: keine benzinlastige Schärfe, wie man sie von manchen Spitzen‑Cognacs kennt, sondern eine runde, fruchtige Aromatik, getragen von Gewürzen und einem feinen Hauch Safran. Der Abgang war ruhig, weich und lang, ohne jede Hektik – genau so, wie ein guter Cognac sein sollte. Für mich gehört dieser Cognac ganz klar in meine Top‑3‑Liste. Ein authentisches, aromatisches Erlebnis, das sowohl Einsteiger als auch Kenner abholt.
