SureFireG2X Pro 600 Lumen Tactical EDC Flashlight Bundle with 2 Extra CR123A Batteries and Lightjunction Battery Case (Green)

My Pelican light died and I shopped for several days for a replacement, finally deciding on the G2X PRO. I picked the pro over the LE model because the first press of the switch gives low light output and the second press gives high output. The LE model is the reverse scheme. For me the low output to start is more practical.The description states it comes with two extra batteries. Well, I received a total of six batteries: two in the light, and four in a little box. That makes it a good deal for batteries. The batteries are fresh: the two in the light have an expiration date of 12-2028 and the four in the box are 3-2029. About the CR123A batteries: they have a long shelf life. I have four Streamlight batteries that have been sitting on my shelf for years, and they still work just fine.The light is a good brightness (not bright, but fine for walking around after dark) in the 15 lumen mode. It is very bright in the 600 lumen mode. Guaranteed for life, so the higher price compared to the Chinese made lights is still money well spent.Finally, the light is very weather proof with o-rings and a sealed switch. It is heavier than water, so if you use it at sea, tie a piece of buoyancy to it. It is ruggedly made.

I replaced an old SureFire 6p with this thing, and so far I've loved it. I live in the country and I use it every day.Just now I was adding some chlorine into the pool in the dark (so it wouldn't burn up in the daytime sun) and I accidentally dropped it in the pool, while it was on.I was able to run and find a skimmer and fish it out, still on, no issues, like it was made for the water. Mad props, and a big confirmation of my decision to spend the money for a decent flashlight. I kinda want to get another one.

I keep buying new ones as I keep giving them away when guys ask me for one while fixing something in a tight space.Brighter than a 6 cell MagLite! But fits in hand. You can change from spot to wider light. Never needed battery replacement.

These flashlights are great. I have several. They are very sturdy and bright, as you might expect. Well recommended.

i have 3 other flash light creed and they light up much better than these surefire.

When I bought this light. I thought it was an “on or off” one mode light. Upon arrival, I saw that it has two modes; off, dim and bright. While it was not suited for my original purpose, it is a great general purpose or Hurricane/Emergency kit light.

Surefire is only flash I own for EDC. Bought one my daughter and one for my son I want them both to have dependable flash in their vehicles.
