On my Fitbit HR the rubber on the bands got loose (started bubbling). Also, I toss and turn like crazy in bed when I'm trying to sleep, sometimes smacking my wrist against the wall. That killed my Charge HR. I didn't want a repeat with my Charge 2. This cover works very well in protecting the bit from accidental bumps. There's no screen cover, but the rubber blocks side-on impacts well. It fits very snug around the bit. The cover doesn't elevate above the heart rate sensor on the inside, so it doesn't affect the readings at all. The clip charger still works with the cover on but sometimes requires a little bit of shimmying to get in place. Honestly, it's just a cheap little piece of silicone rubber, but it fits well, it does what it's supposed to, and $6 is a small price to protect a $150 dollar activity tracker.

Buyers should get a pack of 3 for $5. It's the thinnest, simplest little piece of silicone and they are charging over $5 for one. It's a ripoff unless you get the larger variety packs. It serves its purpose of adding mild protection while I wear my fitbit at work.I don't see why anyone would buy this for fashion. It definitely takes away from the sleek design of the fitbit charge 2 and instantly makes it look like a cheaper, bulkier piece of tech. If I didn't need a little protection for my fitbit at work I would not have bought one. It comes right off as soon as I get home.

Fits snugly and definitely prevents damage to unit. I work with a lot of grinding and sanding and this helps a ton! It will make connecting the charger slightly different but it will still charge and will not prevent from charger clamping on fitbit

I truly feel that this is necessity for protecting your fitbit charge 2! I had something similar on my old HR. It is somewhat of a lint magnet, but still need it!

I had bought a version of this for my earlier flex that I really liked.I had a problem with the band bubbling off.But for this flex I'm not so sure I need it.The screen is big enough that this can't really protect it, and every time I go to charge it you have to take this of to get a good connection with the contacts.I still have it on though, so at the very least it does give me peace of mind.

I would recommend this product. It provided the added protection I was seeking for everyday normal wear with the occasional impact to objects I encounter in work and play. Installation isn't too bad but I wouldn't remove/reinstall it very often. As others have commented, the band cover doesn't affect the charger installation. A little wiggle when positioning and clamping the charger, watch for the battery symbol on the Charge 2 and your done. I added a screen protector also to ensure that I've done all that is economically possible to protect my Charge 2 from the unintentional bumps and banging.

I like it but only reason I gave it only 3 stars is because the cover makes it hard to recharge. So if I want to guarantee that it's charging, I would have to remove it.
