You do look silly when wearing this. If you don’t mind that, it does help. I wish it was less “bulky.” I have an autoimmune disease that causes excessive sweating on my face & back of neck. I wear it when putting on my makeup, getting dressed or when I have neck pain.I would recommend it for working in the yard/garden. Also works well for neck pain. I had just had all my upper teeth removed & had to wear the denture for two days after, to help with healing, while biting on gauze. You can that my face is swollen. This did help a little for the pain.I would give it a higher rating if it wasn’t so bulky.

It is as described. It's good for staying cool during workouts. I didn't want to get a full cold vest, so having this over the shoulders works quite well, and the snaps hold it in place.

This neck ice cooling wrap is great quality. I was surprised when it arrived due to being vacuum sealed/flat packed; I thought I had received the wrong product, or it was one of those cooling wraps you simply soak and wring out. When I actually opened it and froze the wrap, I was pleasantly supplied. The only issue is once frozen, it is very rigid, which makes it a bit uncomfortable.The first time I froze it, i froze it upright, which caused it to freeze unevenly. Even freezing it lying flat, it was still somewhat "center heavy". Otherwise, it is a great neck wrap.Note, please make sure you put it somewhere in your freezer where it will not fall out. Your foot and toes will thank you later.

This item was not what I expected, and to be honest was a little confusing for me. I ended up returning this item.

Great neck cooler for cross country season. Stays cold for a long period of time and provides nice weight/cold on the neck after a race.

The neck cooling wrap ("cool scarf") arrived in a flat package with instructions. First you must soak the wrap in some water for a bit as it soaks up the water. Then place in the fridge or freezer. I opted to place it in the freezer. I actually left it there for a couple of days. One thing was that when I took it out it was pretty much solid as a rock and I actually needed to let it "thaw" for a little bit to be more pliable to be able to use well.It does provide a nice cooling sensation on the neck, but be aware that condensation may be likely so it may get damp around the area where the scarf sits. One other thing I noticed with it frozen at least is that when tied around my neck it made it a little stiff and difficult to move the neck fully and look around. Once it is used and has warmed up again, the entire process can be repeated which is very useful. I'm sure this cooling scarf will be getting a lot of use when going out on hot days for walks and hikes, for example.
