Large Table Easel
It's taken a while to use and explore all the angle options of this easel. I really find this helpful for painting my watercolor pictures and keeping safe from my cats sitting on my painting! It's been so nice to not strain my back and neck by leaning over for long periods. I love that it is easy to shift the angle for different needs by loosening and tightening the back brackets! On top of being a fantastic size and easy to hold different sized art boards or mediums of art it also allows for fantastic drying and taking photos of art! I have another more complicated art easel which I got and it is so fiddly and small I struggle getting a secure position and stable angle. Also, the fact that this easel lays relatively flat when not in use means less storage space which is so helpful for my needs! I can really rely on this easel to serve me and my drawing and painting needs, and help me have better art practice and more ergonomically helpful! I totally love this thing, and would highly recommend it to anyone!!!

It works
This easel works, but lacks storage. It just folds up and can hold your canvas, or sketchbook on it. Not really holding pencil or other form of tool just the actual book or canvas. It just is easy to set up and store away. Just wished it included storage.

Simple, sturdy and well-crafted
This is a beautiful addition to my art room. In order to do gradient backgrounds, I like to have my watercolor paper at a slant, and until now, I've been using a cutting board, propped up on whatever objects I can find. This is a huge improvement. This piece is made from solid beechwood, and it is good and thick. It is completely adjustable because it slides on arms held by wing nuts. You just loosen the nuts to move the board at any angle you wish and then tighten them up again. Simple. You can lay the board flat or put it straight up, or anything in between. When I need to pull watercolor down a sheet, to make a gradation, I need just a bit of a slant, and this easel allows me to blend my colors easily. I can tape watercolor paper to the wood without a problem. I can also use the easel to hold canvas boards and even some stretched canvases. I like the lip at the bottom that is wide enough to hold a brush or two and to catch any running paint or water. Very thoughtful design.

Sturdy and adjustable tabletop easel
This tabletop easel is very sturdy, simple to use and adjust at different angles with finger tightening screws. It is quick to set up and to put away for storage. I like that it is made of quality wood. Solid easel!

good wide easel
The media could not be loaded. I am totally impressed with this easel function and versatility. It is actually lightweight and 12x18", fits in my pack for plein Aire, as well as used in my studio. The ledge at the bottom holds your paper, pad, or canvas in place when used on a tilt. You can adjust the angle by tightening and loosening the eye bolts in the back. Quality wise is "okay" and not sure how long it will last as I see a crack already forming from the side where the top is glued to the frame.Way, way, way better STORING this box-shaped easel than those tabletop easels with the adjustment in the center and put together with sticks. This easel is like working on a desk with a ledge so it is also good for single paper drawing or to use as a tabletop in the field.I am an art teacher of over 30 years as well as a painter. If you are thinking of trading out your old stick easels for these in a classroom, they would be good for horizontal canvas and canvases less than 12 inches in height since there is no top securing mechanism. If your students are rough on their supplies, they may not hold up over time, but would last for a few years, I hope. The trade-off would be these would stack and store easier.

Lightweight and sturdy
This easel is light, compact, and easy to adjust. I am using it to display some items on a table for an event. Once locked into the desired angle, it's sturdy. Craftsmanship isn't perfect, although you wouldn't notice unless looking closely at it. For it's purpose and price, I love it.

huge!! can put a big book on it, or 2 pieces of paper, side by side.
I do like this and find it will be useful when cooking. I also think I will be using it to hold my To Do lists on cleaning day.

"Nice easel!" "Thank you - I just had it prepped!"
Lightweight, adjusts like a charm, & (therefore) works well for the occ. sketching bouts I intend to keep using it for!Sure, sure: there are several things that "could be improved upon" here (anti-skid/-scuff pads, + some art supplies storage space specifically come to mind!), *but* I received exactly the beech wood tabletop easel I was promised to get, so, no need to go lower than (the well deserved!) 5 stars. :D
