After spending this afternoon packing cardboard boxes to go into storage, I’ve had a revelation……good quality parcel tape does exist! After years of using inferior parcel tape from various suppliers, I’m so happy to have discovered this parcel tape as it’s definitely ‘Fit For The Job’.The tape is strong and sturdy, it has good adhesion and sticks to cardboard and itself very well. It doesn’t break into annoying strips or pieces, and if you lose the end it’s easy to find as the tape is quite thick and unpeels easily. It even cuts in a straight line with only a little encouragement from your scissors.This tape makes packing boxes so much quicker and easier than battling with dodgy parcel tape, it’s a pleasure to use and at £5.99 for six 66m rolls, I think it’s an absolute bargain - highly recommended and I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.

This parcel tape is noticeably thinner than the big brands and has a little stretch to it. It sticks relatively well although on cardboard does pull away a little if used on overlapping flaps that aren’t flush. It sticks well to itself so I would recommend taping right around the package and overlap the tape. Priced at £5 at time of review this is under half the price of the top brands so if you need a lot of tape for light duty then this will do the job.

I generally use brown parcel tape for taping up boxes (although I've come across some that has been absolutely useless), but on occasions I run out, so have to revert to household clear sticky tape. The problem with that is that it doesn't always stick to the cardboard very well, so I end up using reels of it just to get it to stick down, likewise some brands of brown parcel tape I've used too.The Fit For The Job Clear Parcel Tape is absolutely brilliant. It's easy to peel from the reel, feels robust, and sticks to boxes perfectly. Being clear, it also looks a lot neater and tidier than brown tape. I've also found it brilliant for general household sticky tape too. One example, my son had a poster on his wall stuck up with the famous tac the same colour as the sky, but the poster just kept falling down on a daily basis. I've used the Fit For The Job Clear Tape to tape it to the wall, a piece on all four corners, and the poster hasn't budged since.At £4.90 (currently) for six rolls, it's excellent value for money. This is now my go-to tape brand.

Really good quality parcel tape with a strong stick.

If you're wanting something that you can be sure will keep some of the larger packages sealed, this stuff is great for peace of mind. It's very adhesive, to the extent that it's extremely difficult to peel the first bit off the roll again once you've stuck it back after use. For this reason, I find it's essential to fold a little bit over itself each time so you have something to grab hold of.But as far as parcel tape goes, this is as good as it gets. Being wide, it covers a fair portion of the parcel box, and sticks so well there is no chance it's going to come undone during transit.Great stuff to have in stock for any packages that need sending.

Good strong tape - good price for 6! This is ideal for packages or moving boxes. We had to put together 40 or so second hand boxes for my mum to help her move house and this tape came in super handy. It is easy to get started and sticks well. We were very happy with it!
