I went back and forth for a long time deciding which Cricut to buy, and I’m really glad I chose the Joy Xtra. It’s perfect for someone like me who mainly makes cards, tags, and small paper projects. It’s easy to use, compact, and does exactly what I need without being overwhelming. I also use ChatGPT to help break down steps and directions when projects feel confusing or overwhelming, which has made crafting much more enjoyable and stress-free. This combination has worked really well for me.

Excelente producto si quieres empezar proyectos medianos-grandes; es un tamaño compacto para no usar mucho espacio, y al mismo tiempo lo suficientemente expansible para trabajos precisos. Tiene opción de colocar el vinil sin el tapete de corte, además de poder hacer la conexión entre tu plotter y tu impresora de tinta para poder hacer etiquetas personalizadas.

This machine is perfect for my needs (small crafts). I mostly make things for myself and friends. It's suitable for making shirt designs, cards, stickers, ect. It stores well under my printer. I like that it's not big and bulky like some other machines. The software is okay. The Design app does require a subscription for most of their images and text, but you can import those things from other softwares. I've enjoyed being able to use this to personalize gifts and to create small projects. It's made personalizing my children's birthdays easy and fun. It's worth the money because if you use it, it eventually pays for itself. Before I bought it, I was ordering a lot of things for birthday parties off of Etsy. Now I make it myself for a fraction of the cost. Plus, the designs are exactly what I envision because I'm making them myself. It's fairly easy to set up and learn. On a side note, it's so fun to watch it work! It cuts so fast and efficiently. The cut is clean and well done. Great product!
