Ridge Footwear Men’s Tactical Boots Dura Max 8” with Zipper Sand Suede Leather Waterproof Coyote Oil & Slip Resistant Boots

I purchased a standard size 8.5 M US and was a bit worried that they would be tight because I normally (rather, prefer wide width) but these fit me perfectly. I wear them underneath my boot cut jeans and they look very stylish. When I first put them on inside the house and walked around on my hardwood floor and tile, they squeaked a lot and I thought they would be noisy outside as well, but that didn't happen at all. As soon as I stepped outside, they were silent...and I was relieved. In the couple weeks that I've been wearing them, I have received a couple "likes" already from people who have asked me about them and where they can purchase one as well. I really like wearing these boots, especially right now with winter fast approaching. They keep my feet nice and warm and well cushioned during use. I can actually feel the side padding while walking in them. I especially love not having to tie and untie the laces because having the zipper on the side of the boots makes them so easy and convenient to put on and take off! Had I known these existed, I would have purchased them a long time ago! While I have gotten used to the light sand color now, if I were to purchase another pair, I would probably choose a slightly darker brown color to be less conspicuous. Overall, I really like these boots and find them to be very comfortable, have good traction, and easy to put on and take off. They seem sturdy and of good quality (despite being made in China as many products are anymore). I'm just not sure if they are water repellent..but I wish they are. I would definitely recommend them and give them a 4.7/5.0! - 11/17/2014UPDATE: After wearing these boots for one and half years (almost everyday), the suede on the left heel of the boot gradually started to stretch and opened up on me. However, it's "user" issue because I always use my right foot to hold the left heel while I try to take off the boots while standing. I have to try not to do this again. Had I not done this for over a year, I doubt the left heel would be as worn because the right heel is still perfect as the day I bought them. The boots did not hold up as well on icy sidewalks as I had hope though and I've slipped with them on once or twice until I used an ice traction slip-on/grip/cleat with them (see pics from March 2016). Other than that, I had no issues with these boots in terms of workmanship. The laces got worn and frayed but so far they have not snapped. I love them and that's why I wear them pretty much year round. The zippers are awesome and I'll probably never buy another boot without them. I still get compliments when I wear my boots around town. Random people still tell me they like my boots despite them being a bit beaten up after a year and a half of abuse! I guess that's why I came back to buy another pair! - 07/05/2016

Here is my experience with these boots. I bought them at the beginning on December (delivery at my door by the 9th). Once I tried on, they fit perfectly, are light weight and have a good support. Today a February 14, they have a hole in the tip of the boot by the big toe. I was upset to see this to happen within 2 month of use. I did use them frequently to go to the office THAT IT!!!Now you can tell the material use is not the greatest. The outside finishes are ok but the interior cuts and stiches are low quality. I will definitely not going to buy this product again. I just bought the New Balance OTP Tactical Men's Bushmaster 6-Inch OTP Tactical Boot which are better quality and cheaper.

Very comfortable. The only reason I'm not giving the 5th star, is because the description says that the boots are synthetic. However, the tag inside the boots say leather. I stopped buying leather years ago. So much for that....

Lasted the year I was deployed... the sole cracked under the ball of my feet, both cracked at the same time. Other than that they were nice, comfortable, and water resistant.

A light durable boot, and once laced to the tightness I like, they come on and off in a pinch with the side zipper. Great design. Good price.

It seems the listing is for the Wrong boots...NOT the same as my original boots that are years old & extremely comfortable. No padded ankle area, wrong sole, wrong images portrayed on Amazon Listing, just wrong...I understand the need to cut costs to keep a profit margin, but don’t cut comfort and completely redesign the boot and seek it under the same moniker. Never again until Ridge re-releases the original version.

It was just as I expected,comfort ,durable and quick wear,the only problem was the stain on the tip of the boot.

The boots fit. I've ordered several pair different of boots over the years and they just seem to never fit right, these are different. They fit, they are LIGHT weight, and they look good and next payday I will order another pair in the same size(maybe two).
