on 2005 Suburban. biggest difficulty was getting the panel off to access actuators. bought 2 as both rear air diverter (blowing from above/below) and temp control needed replacement and both were the same part. Install was a simple wire disconnect and 2 screws. super easy as these fit perfectly! Trouble was getting them calibrated. Would have liked something included about how to do it. Pulled several A/C fuses and I must have missed the right one. eventually found a video stating disconnect battery 2min, then reconnect and turn ignition 2 clicks and wait 5 min to allow calibrations to finish. then turned ignition off/on and...works perfect!

I have a 2005 Tahoe lt with auto air. These actuators are know to fail and I’ve replace all of the front already (there’s three up front) and I got the 120$ acdelco ones when they quit working. My rear stopped working and there’s two in the back. One for the location of air, and one for the temp. This part is what you need for both. The ones from advance, auto zone, Napa, all the big stores are all about 110-130$. I didn’t want to spend all of that, I figured I would give these a shot as they work with the part number on my oem ones. I know you get what you pay for and these may break in a year, but for today they work. I would give it 5 stars if I trusted the quality. These do feel lighter and I’m sure the insides are all plastic. The acdelco ones are not, but their 5x the price. To each their own.

This is a low cost OEM replacement that is a direct fit.

Do not buy this part unless you want to waste your time. The "lifetime warranty" is bull! The first part quit working. I contacted them and it took several emails back and forth to get a replacement sent. Installed the replacement and it lasted less than 4 months. Contacted them again for their lifetime warranty. They responded with, "There is no warranty on the replacement." So don't let the lifetime warranty garbage sway you to buy this part. It means nothing since all the parts are obviously JUNK.

A pain to replace this controller in a 2013 Honda pilot but it did the trick. Couldn’t get the vents to open anywhere but at my feet. After replacing the mode controller now I can get air at my face and defroster. Very happy with this product.
