I have 7 of these now -- super nice monitors
Phenomenal gaming monitor. I liked these so much, I have seven of them. Response time is amazing, picture is beautiful (though fair warning, I'm no connoisseur of theater-style TVs -- my main focus is minimal latency), and they are of solid build quality. The main weaknesses for me are the speakers, which are passable, but not ideal, and the remote controlling multiple at once. You have to be a bit sleuthy to use the remote with an array of these. But overall, five stars. 38" is an interesting size, but they look great.

Great Monitor!
This 38" 4K Asus monitor offers a lot to love when it comes to functionality and performance. Designed for work, gaming, and creative needs, it offers an array of features to elevate your digital experience.Readability is a standout feature; the clarity of text is remarkable. If spreadsheets and articles are part of your daily grind, your eyes will be in for a treat.Color accuracy is another high point. Creative professionals and color aficionados will find that this monitor meets their expectations.A word about screen size and distance: At 38 inches, it is best viewed from 2-3 feet away (approximately 60-90 cm). This is about the largest screen that's comfortably usable at 4K resolution. The IPS panel does show some minor corner glow on darker scenes, but this is unlikely to interfere with your day-to-day activities. As for HDR, it's more of a checkbox feature. While it's there and technically functions, don't expect it to be the star of the show. Consider it a "nice-to-have" rather than a game-changer.Where compatibility is concerned, the 16:9 aspect ratio with 4K resolution is spot-on. Need to downscale to 1080p for graphically demanding games? No problem—everything scales smoothly, sans glitches. For gamers, the Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) options are a boon. With G-Sync compatibility included, the monitor promises smoother gameplay whether you're using high-end Nvidia and AMD cards or modern consoles like the Xbox Series X and Sony PlayStation 5.One more perk for those worried about the longevity of their screens: this monitor doesn't suffer from the image burn-in risks that you might associate with OLED technology. While the monitor has 5W speakers and USB connections, consider these features the cup holders of this technological "sports car"—nice to have but not why you made the purchase. Now, if there's a chink in the armor, it's the lack of deep blacks that OLED technology offers. While the monitor excels in many areas, if you're seeking OLED-level blacks, this isn't the screen for you.In summary, this 38" 4K Asus monitor is a nearly perfect blend of size, clarity, and versatility. If you're eyeing an upgrade, it comes highly recommIt is highly recommended if you're considering an upgrade.

A truly visually transformative experience
This review is for the ASUS ROG Swift 32” 4K OLED Gaming Monitor (PG32UCDP) size and version.Absolutely stunning, experience altering is the only way for me to describe this monitor. The combination of OLED, 4k, HDR, and 240hz is the best visual experience so far and truly a visually transformative experience. This monitor is dual mode and has an FHD 480hz mode that I couldn't figure out how to get it to work, but I don't have a "need" for it and won't probably use ever. I think the issue might be related to how my GPU sends a 4k signal even though I set the resolution to 1080p. Since I won't use this feature, I won't be troubleshooting it further.4k at 240hz is plenty good enough for me in competitive FPS games as a casual player. Playing "CS2" at 4k 240hz on an OLED with HDR enabled felt like seeing a whole new game. Coming from my previous monitor, 4k IPS at 144hz is saying a lot. For open-world triple A games, this OLED monitor is end-game level.I had considered going 1440p ultrawide but after some research found that there was limited game support for that type of resolution and for my use case 4k 32 inch would be a better fit.Do note that I am running this monitor with an RTX 5090 GPU and use my PC for both gaming and desktop work. For desktop work, again this monitor is amazing. With other 4k monitors I have found that at native 4k resolution with 100% scaling my eyes struggled to focus on text, sort of like a camera motor and text appeared to almost vibrate is the only way to describe it. With this Asus PG32UCDP, I see text clearly and my eyes have no problems focusing at native 4K with 100% scaling. At 100% scaling text is tiny but comfortable to view.I use the 4k resolution and 100% scaling all of the time for both gaming and work. Normally with other 4K monitors I have to use 150% scaling. The only downside for me is the default OLED brightness management can be a bit aggressive if you're not used to it.The screen will dim slightly after a few seconds if there is a static image detected. In conclusion, 4k OLED and 32 inch size is optimal for me and is the most visually pleasing and comfortable. This monitor excels in every aspect and is worth the price. The price is high but to me is worth the value. I did buy this monitor on sale during Prime day. I'm not including any pictures because it will not accurately reflect the monitor's performance and experience.Highly recommended if you are in the price range of this monitor and want the best visual experience for both desktop work and gaming.

Bricked my pc for gaming
I hooked up this monitor and it was working amazing in bo6 for the first 5 or 6 matches. Then i went into the settings on screen, while i was in the game but not playing, and just switched the slider on the setting that says to allow gsync/freesync or whatever. My screen went black instantly, then showed static. I had to hard reset the pc, and now i can no longer boot the game without it crashing in the first 30 seconds with an error. I tried uninstalling bo6, and reinstalling. No help. I tried scan and repair, no help. I tried system restore, reinstall of gpu drivers, cache cleaning, and even my old adus monitor, as well as dp cable swap, and it still won’t boot the game. I think this monitor bricked my gpu or something in my system. Very disappointed at this time. I will probably have to build an entirely new pc now and all because of one setting change, its crazy. Would not recommend this to anyone due to risk and what happened to me.
