I love these air blasters! We used to have one that you pull back and release. It was a ton of fun but not sustainable because it was bulky and too up way too much space. This version is completely different! It has a strap on the side so that it stores flat - flat being a few inches thing - takes up much less space than the pulling style of this type of toy.When using, you'll notice that the back you push on is soft. This is nice because you are not risking hurting your hand by smashing it too hard over and over again. The fabric is also quite thick/durable. So it should hold up for a nice long time.The only thing I did notice though is that it takes a lil' umph to use it properly. Which suggests that the age recommendation in the description (8+) is accurate. Littles younger than this age might have a hard time pushing it in hard enough and fast enough to create a good air burst. So, keep this in mind if you are buying it for a gift. It might not be suitable for kids younger than what's recommended.

This air blaster does a good job delivering blasts of air, but its range and power isn't anywhere near what I've seen in similar devices/toys that use a rubber band to use the thing like a slingshot. This one, instead, has you punching the back, which expands back out due to a slinky inside. In exchange for range and power you do have something that's easier to use repeatedly in quick succession, but it's also more labor-intensive.In the end, I think it's a matter of personal taste. However, in any case, this is still a fun, safe toy for kids, and the way you can use an included rubber band to collapse it for storage is nice too. It also comes with a bunch of standees you can aim at, which is a nice little extra too.Overall, not bad.

My 10 year old boy has way too much fun with this and his friends! Great gift for tons of fun!

It really does punch you with a good amount of air. The spring holds up well and its a cool little toy.

I have seen these before and I thought they were really cool so I was excited to give this a try. The other ones I’ve tried in the past had a pull system, so you shot it almost like a bow and arrow, which made them easy to aim and fire. This one however, is incredibly hard to use because of how you fire it. You have to push on the back, but when you do this you naturally push the entire thing downward, so you almost inevitably miss the target every time. It also doesn’t move much air. Like, from across my living room you can barely feel the puff of air being shot at you. A major disappointment.

Bulky and not that cool… just puffs out air. Comes with target cards that just get bent and ruined. Basic toy may kids got bored with it 2 minutes after opening it

I admit, I buy my kiddo too many toys but we only get one childhood, right?Anyway, he has a TON of toys that are either melee weapons or shoot projectiles and sometimes I just want him to have fun without attempting to destroy something. This was an excellent choice!This STEM physics-based toy lets you examine the principles of air movement (or not, whatever) while having fun knocking down targets. You could also fill it using a smoke machine and make huge spinning smoke rings if you want!

This is a fun toy and feels sturdy. The back is padded which helps retain its shape and forces out the air no matter where it is hit. I like how it folds flat for storage. It is not easy to accurately aim, since it has to be hit on the back to force out the air. It is not as loud as a traditional airzooka.It looks like part of a seam is missing and is a little crooked.
