Have been using this for a while. It is heavy, nice and sturdy, cleans well. We use it to make smash burgers on the flat top and works great. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect size and weight in my opinion. I did not want something very large and heavy. Fits in smaller pans and can still use on grill for a steak or couple burgers. Food does cook faster and evenly. Caution when using on grill, the wood handle will get very hot. Wear a mitt or glove to pick up. Also, on grill the wood handle turns black but who cares. Lastly, it is cast iron. I just wipe off when I am done with it. No soap or water.

Don't let it sit wet in the sink. It will rust quickly. Works great. Heavy weight nice wooden handle.

I love this burger smasher for the blackstone. The smash burgers are great its the perfect weight to hold down bacon.

I already have a rectangle press, but I realize that what I really wanted was one I could use in in my round skillets and that one just does not work. I looked at all the possibilities for round ones - some were slightly bigger, some slightly smaller and I opted for this one because it comes pre-seasoned and it is the right size.I mainly use it for things like hashbrowns, which come out beautifully crisp when I use this press. I also use it for bacon and for cooking chicken breasts that are frozen and breaded and I want to crisp them off after they’ve come out of the convection oven. I haven’t even begun to explore all the other things I will use it for but I know I’m going to enjoy exploring the possibilitiesThe pre-seasoning is wonderful because I have had zero rust and I have washed it numerous times and I have had no fear that it was going to rust. Granted when I wash it, I dry it right away. I have found that the easiest way to wash it is with a brush and I do use soap on it but the seasoning is staying put. Which is what should happen when something is properly seasoned. Soap should not remove seasoning, contrary to popular belief.All in all, I am very happy with the choice I made and I would do it again.

Hello FolksI bought this product for us and it works as intended. Liked it so much, I bought one for my son and bought one for my sister.Works great on bacon, steaks and pork chops… we haven’t tried it on burgers as of yet.

We love this for our Blackstone. Great for smash burgers, smash tacos, and even for cooking bacon!

The handle was basically broken out of the box. I think its more design/materials than shipping. At the end of the day its a piece of metal for flattening stuff, so not the end of the world.
