Very sturdy commercial grade kitchen machine. Our previous purchase has withstood more than 2 years of daily use in a restaurant kitchen. Highly recommended. We just repurchased an additional machine.

It works great. We chopped 100 pounds of onions in about an hour. Would have taken less time if we had all the onions ready. We also cleaned 10 bunches of celery, stood them up in the feed and just pushed them thru. It did plug up at the end of the celery, but it probably would not have if we had put a few less through at a time. Use a square bowl to catch and have it raised up or pieces will fly everywhere. I bought it to use in our 4-H food stand at the fair. Prep took about 3 hours less. Great purchase

Bought this for commercial use as we needed something that held at least this much volume, but didn't want to spend the money for a robot coup. It's rather flimsy. The grating attachment has big holes in it that cause big chunks to be mixed in with grated cheese. In addition not even a year into buying it, while shredding smoked gouda the grating blade came apart- the metal where it attaches to the central peg was literally torn, and this was just on gouda, not even a really hard cheese like parmesan. Before that, the gasket on the lid had come apart washing it in the dishwasher. It's supposed to be a commercial model so we thought it would last better than that. We got both parts replaced, but their customer service is horrible. Both times I had to call about 20 times to get through to a representative without their phone system hanging up on me, although once I did get through, the person on the line was actually very helpful.

Powerful, robust. However, there is a large gap between blade and lid, which means a small chunk of your cheese, etc not being processed. Gasket could be a pain to clean. I am looking at Waring WFP 1000 (a smaller bowl is ok for me, no whipping though), or Robot Coupe R2/R3 as a replacement.

I selected this food processor since it was highly rated and was listed as made in USA. The box arrived and is clearly labeled 'made in China'. Very disappointing.
