Got a Bugout for Christmas and immediately wanted to trade up the cheesy plastic scales. I got copper Flytanium scales and a brass backspacer for my Delica a few years ago and they are great, so figured more these nice looking Crossfade scales would be a no brainer. I was excited when they arrived, envisioning the rock solid lock up and glass smooth action I would soon have, mirroring my experience with my Benchmade Griptilian. After putting them on I found that the knife had significant side to side blade play. I was disappointed but thought they probably just needed adjustment like my Griptilian did. After two days of adjusting, tightening, loosening, I called it quits and decided to return them. Amazon offered to resend a new pair, and I figured I'd probably just gotten a lemon so I spun a again. Nope, exact, same, issue. Poor Fit. I checked them with my calipers, and here and there they were off by a few thousands of an inch here and there. Comparing them against the Benchmade scales you could see the flaws. So, returned those and am buying American. Hopefully our boys will take the few moments more to ensure you get what you pay for.

I've had these for a while now and they're really great! Installation is not the easiest, but can be accomplished with the help of some YouTube and patience. Flytanium makes really good stuff - don't hesitate to pick up a set of these.
