This is not the most revolutionized bike rack as it is simple. It not for permanent installation and great to be readjusted quickly. You have a sailboat, this is great to move around the deck with your railing system. Just make sure your phone is waterproof.

Used the phone mount primarily for riding on paved paths and some bumpier hills. It is super quick and relatively intuitive to install the first time and is super fast to attach and detach the phone. It holds the phone super tight and I did not have to worry about it slipping out. The mount is very easily and quickly detachable when needed and is an excellent choice.
