Greek Yogurt Strainer Nut Milk Bag, Toufu Strainer, Fruit Juicing, Sprouting, Stainless Steel Fine Mesh Filter, BPA Free for Food (1.5 Quart Small)

This is my first strainer, and I am extremely pleased with this one, I will definitely order another. Fits in a small space and produces a perfect yogurt. Holds four cups of yogurt base to strain, cleans easily and has many other uses, highly recommend.

This product works perfectly for making rice milk. Horrible and difficult to clean nut-milk bags are a thing of the past! (This actually comes with one for some reason, but I'll never use it, or any other nut-milk bag, ever again.) If it takes more than just a minute or two for your milk to drain through, then you are blending it for too long. You should be able to gently scrape the mesh in a stirring motion with the included press and completely sieve a quart in no more than one or two minutes. You WILL get a bit of starch settle but that will happen no matter which sieve you use. Just remember to shake your rice milk vigorously before each use.

I used this product to make nut milks. Is is so much easier than a nut milk bag. My hands stay clean and I save my hands from premature carparal tunnels. The pitcher holds exactly what I need and the upper part makes cleaning the pulp a breeze compared to a bag. The only negative is that it is made out of plastic. I would literally pay $70 for one of these made out of glass with a total stainless steel upper part.

This is a good strainer, but there are two things that need to be addressed. The biggest issue I have with it is the pitcher part and the strainer basin. The basin will not hold the whole batch of yogurt (1/2 gal) and I have to use another system to strain what doesn't fit. PIB. The basin should be the size of the pitcher and pitcher should be the size of the basin. Secondly, the cleaning brushe's handle needs to be shorter in order to make cleaning the inside rim of the strainer easier. It's great for cleaning the screen though. Love the removable handle and how nicely the screen basin fits onto the pitcher; nice and snug, but not tight.

It works great- the mesh is fine enough to make Greek yogurt even without cheesecloth. It is definitely smaller than I expected it to be though. The strainer does NOT hold 1qt as stated in the product title - it is closer to 0.75qt when filled TO THE RIM. The pitcher does hold ALMOST 1.5qts, but only when it is filled to the spilling point. 1.5qts fits into it in the same way that my size 16 body fits into size 14 jeans - I might be able to squeeze it in, but all the squishy parts spill over the top. Lol. Still a good product, but I feel misled about the size, so I will still have to strain my yogurt in batches.

Love that I don’t have to hold a strainer n glass. Easy to clean. Handle isn’t as secure as I’d like but it’s still great.

I make shampoos and gels and I use a lot of roots and seeds and herbs and pulp, etc.. I usually have to strain and squeeze my product 2-3 times to get a solution that won't leave "stuff" in my hair - not so with this little baby, right here! I made a batch of shampoo today and this fine-mesh strainer with the push-tools made my work SO easy , I went on to make a couple of other products, too! I'm hoping that the mesh holds up but so far I'm loving it! (haven't used the nut milk bag, yet)

Really disappointed in this product. The mesh isn’t nearly fine enough to strain just the whey from yogurt to make Greek yogurt. You have to line it with a coffee filter or towel to use it for that advertised purpose which defeats the need for a $20 “tool”. Will be returning.
