The media could not be loaded. 10/1224 update. It’s been on the roof for a few days. I’ve gone 80 miles an hour and it’s still perfectly attached. I think the tip is keeping it faced backwards. It’s more aerodynamic that way and a bonus is no bugs will be all over the lens.I've wanted one of these lights for my truck for years now and finally decided to get one. We have been doing much more camping and off roading since having our kids.This unit is big but that's the point. It reaches out past 200 yards easy! I just tossed it on the roof tonight and plugged it in to test it and I was outside for 20+ minutes just playing with it. Lighting up the park way down the street and lighting up trees across the street.With its 360 turning and up and down range, this is such a handy spotlight.Use it for a work truck or a something like a search and rescue rig. Any use you might want to have extra adjustable light, this is what you want. I'm just that stoked with it.Ill be putting this on my 2011 F250 on the front middle of the roof. UPDATE…. It flew off going down the road and broke Very concerned with the magnet strength don’t believe it will hold on at a higher speed. Bought this to see electric poles at night, unfortunately it doesn’t turn high enough to get the whole pole. For the price it’s not worth it.

Well built. Easy to wire in. Bright for what it is. I purchased this for my boat also mainly due to the price. It was smaller than I thought it would be so I installed it on my golf cart. Works well. The threads on the sides, 6mm, could have been threaded a bit better. The bolts were hard to start and some of the aluminum material came out of the threads. But I was able to install them and all good.

The media could not be loaded. I got this as a gift for my husband. He is super happy with it so far. It’s really bright!! We tried it plugged into a battery bank the first day we got it just to see if it was in working order. The controller it comes with works really far away from what we tested. He’s going g to be mounting it on our expedition. After reading reviews about mounting, we will be taking the rubber pad off in order for the magnets to touch the vehicle directly. We read if we would use the hardware we would keep the pad. Makes sense. It’s a few MM thick so the better the magnets can contact the better it will hold.We also read a review saying to keep it facing backwards to make it more aerodynamic and to keep the bugs and rocks off the lens.

Got this for a work vehicle. Worked great around the job site and around town. Left it on the vehicle while traveling from one site to the next and it flew off on the freeway.

I have purchased additional remotes. I use them to turn on the light as I am approaching the boat on the pier. It lights up the whole pier so that I can see where I am going. It is really bright. A definite upgrade from the spot light that I had.
