This is a beautiful metal lamp with a unique light pattern. It brightens a whole table, and even a whole room, without blinding you. How this magical lightning works: consult the two pictures shot from the same angle under the same sunset lighting conditions in a sunroom. One shows the lowest brightness setting, and the other shows max. The low-brightness picture illustrates a frosted inner dome at the bottom of the clear cylinder. Three LEDs can be seen lit at their lowest level. At max lighting, you can see plenty of light shooting upward, reflecting off metal arms at the top. The frosted surfaces scatter the rest of light all around the lamp, mostly donward onto the table surface, and NOT into a diner's eye. A third picture shown from a diner's point of view confirms this dual lighting pattern.A fourth picture with the lamp in a pitch-black pantry (next to a coffeemaker) demonstrates how effective this lamp is at evenly illustrating the environment. A fifth picture shows the lamp at its dimmest setting in a dark room, again to illustrate light coming out of the top, at roughly a 45° angle, and out of the bottom frosted dome, only downwards.The lamp is well-made. All metal-looking parts are solid metal. It's hefty and great looking. People have commented on the non-glass cylinder. I would not worry about scratches. You may see dust and scratches in pictures very clearly. That's just how cameras capture pictures. In everyday situations, the cylinder looks just like a beautiful piece of glass regardless of blemishes.Not all LED table lamps operate the same way. Most have three color modes (white, warm, and balanced), including this one. But the way they remember the last settings are sometimes different. This lamp remembers the brightness level individually for each of the three color modes. But it gives up something in return - you can't turn it off immediately when done, by tapping that single button. Instead, every tap cycles through white-warm-balanced-OFF. Yes, in reality it's got 4 color modes, the last of which being OFF. If you had it in the 'warm' mode, you must tap through the 'balanced' mode before you can turn it off.

This LED rechargeable metal table lamp by Grasomtools is an extraordinarily beautiful and well made, quality lamp. The structure of the lamp is all metal including both the base and the "cage". The cage can be removed if you want something a little smaller. With the cage removed, the shape of the solid Lucite cylinder on the wider metal base kind of reminds me of a medium sized cylinder candle. The touch sensitive button on the front allows you to scroll through 3 different color temperatures, and with a long press (touch) on the same button will dim the light. A combination of the two effects allows you to customize this lamp to any mood or setting. It is recharged using a USB-C cord (cord included, transformer adapter not included). It would be a great emergency lamp for power failure situations. I really like this lamp, it is definitely a winner, especially for the very reasonable price point of less than $26. This is a cool lamp, something a little different, and easy to move around. It seems to be well made, looks nice, and is easily rechargeable via USB-C. Just know going in, this isn't a "camp light", or something you'll use to provide a great deal of lighting for a medium to large area. The majority of the light output actually goes up, towards the ceiling. That's due to the use of the acrylic cylinder above the LEDs, which is what sets it apart. The reason I took off 1 star is because in most of the photos provided on the item's Amazon webpage, the lamp image has been photo-shopped in - it's not actually present in that setting, and thus not providing any of the light you see illuminating the surroundings or people, and I think that is misleading. If you want to use this to accent a corner, highlight plants, to provide soft, mood lighting, to mark where the deck ends so someone doesn't fall in the pool, this is great. The construction is solid and it looks very cool - in fact, if it illuminated brightly like a typical camp light, it wouldn't be as attractive. But as far as a main light source, other than in an emergency, there are better options. As long as you're aware of what you're getting, I think you'll be very happy, just don't rely too much on the website illustrations. I've included a couple of photos of this lamp, and another USB rechargeable LED lamp of a different design, both at 100% illumination, to illustrate different light patterns. Quite frankly, the photo of this lamp makes it seem brighter than it actually is. The other lamp illuminates the table better but doesn't throw much light to the sides or above. Two different designs - two different results. It also makes for a nice lamp to have charged and on hand in case of a power outage.

This lamp is a very nice for ambiance lighting. The 3-color stepless dimming feature is very useful, allowing you to set the perfect mood. It's truly portable with a good battery life, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. The design is sleek, modern, and the touch controls are responsive. Charges quickly, too. A bit on the smaller side, but that's exactly what I needed for my space. Perfect for anyone looking to add some light without the hassle of cords.

Been wanting this style of rechargeable table for awhile now and some of them can be rather pricey... This one is perfect! The top is brass as advertised and very substantial, the body is made of a thinner material, but still metal and there is no color variance in material. The acrylic element is solid, clear and free of any defects an the light choices are perfect! Haven't had to charge it yet, so battery life has been excellent so far! Great little lamp for ambiance!
