Motip M04098 Brake Caliper, 400 ml, Red

Although I bought this hoping it would match my Brembo brake calipers it doesn't but nobody ever claimed it did so I can't mark it down for my mistake. The paint itself is good quality with a glossy finish so I happily give it 5 stars

I've used all sorts of caliper paints, from brush type to sprays, this one ranks among my top 2. The paint lays on very nicely and does not run even when you're being over zealous or careless. It dries to a brilliant finish no need for lacquer, very easy to use even for a novice painter, love it!

It seems nice paint and the colour is nice.

I bought 2 cans just incase I ran out but now I have a spare. Used one can between 2 carriers and 2 calipers. Good product, quick drying leaves a nice finish. Defo worth spending the right prep time and use a good primer to have the best results. Happy with the product would buy it again. Can look a little bit green in lighting. Outside it looks good but under indoor lighting doesn’t look great.

Product was simple to use and now the calipers on my wheels stand out, great colour very vibrant, for the best use its better to use a primer first and a lacquer after to seal the paint looks fantastic and you get a lot more in the cans than expected.

Can’t fault it. *** With good preparation *** it leaves a lovely glossy finish which seems to be quite durable, and is coping with strong wheel cleaners and brake dust.

This is quite an orange red so just make sure you're ok with that before buying. I bought this to paint my rear calipers as they've gone pink with age but they are nothing like the rich red colour of my fronts. Do not buy if you want Brembo or Porsche red caliper paint. Goes on easily and dries quickly enough to re-coat within an hour, just a shame about the shade of red. I'm now having to research and find the correct shade and having to re-do them.

Used for my jaguar callipers have had on awhile now paint hasn’t changed or cracked or peeled so can say very worth the money
