Featured packed, great value robot vacuum.
I’ve been using the Xiaomi X20+ for a week and so far I'm impressed with it. It seems to have most of the features of much more expensive vacuums (laser navigation, rotary mopping, self emptying etc) but at a more affordable price. It has much more suction compared to my old (Neato) robot vacuum, although it struggles to get into corners as well (Neatos have wider brush rollers and are D shaped). The laser navigation combined with the obstacle avoidance camera works very well - I have a toddler, so it often has to avoid toys, blocks etc.It doesn't have a way of sensing carpet or hard floors to automatically lift the mop heads. So on the first use I set it to vacuum only, this then created a map of the area it had cleaned and allowed me to mark the carpeted areas in the app (so it doesn't try to mop the carpets on future cleans). I don't really see this as a negative as it was easy enough to do and won't need to be repeated (unless I move house). The app works pretty well and lets you set cleaning schedules, cleaning strengths and see the path it is cleaning (with info on duration, area size and battery status).A couple of downsides are that you cannot use cleaning solutions for mopping (according to Xiaomi) and the automatic drying of the mop heads is done with cold air - which, even after 4 hours, doesn't seem to dry them properly. As there isn't a water tank in the robot itself, it has to keep returning back to the base to wet the mop, which increases the time it takes to mop. Also the base is very, very large, but luckily I've managed to hide it in-between a sofa and a bay window (photos attached) - the robot can navigate well enough to work out how to get under the sofa and back to base. The battery life seems very good, it uses less than 50% to vacuum and mop my 48m2 downstairs area, which takes 70mins.Overall, I'm very happy with the Xiaomi X20+, there are some negatives, but these are outweighed by how much bang for buck this robot vacuum offers.

I would avoid them, their lack of support if something goes wrong is shocking
Truly awful customer service. Ours developed a fault - sent it back for a repair which took 2 weeks - They sent it back scratched and broken! Trying to get them to collect it again was very difficult - multiple failed collections. They have now had it for over 2 weeks. Customer service using cut and paste emails which are next to no use. I then asked for a refund - and over 80 emails later I am still waiting. Gone with Eefy and more than happy now.
