Amazing!!!
After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical to purchase this protein powder, but thought hey, the macro's are great and at the end of the day that's more important and beneficial than the taste. Chocolate seemed like the safest flavour to go with, so first, I paired the powder with milk to ease the taste as I was presuming it would be nothing less than chocolate vomit, but to my surprise it tasted absolutely LOVELY. Exactly like cadburys hot chocolate- even has the same smell. After braving it with milk, I thought i'd mix with water, half expecting it to taste like liquid ass based on all these bad reviews. But ALAS, it tasted exactly the same, if not better. 10/10, definitely recommend, best value for money (5kg for £36!!! whaaaat) and one of the best macros. Personally I've never had an issue with it not mixing well, just got to shake it like your life depends on it.

Rubbish
Worst mixing protein I have used in 30 years. Tastes ok the first three or four times I used it then just tasted like sugar flavoured Artex, with lumps. I tried using a hand blender, a soup maker and a full on food processor and all life grit and lumps. To top it all off it stained everything blue it touched, and I mean stained. Also all bodily excretions, either fluid or solid were coloured blue or green, ALL! I have used Matrix before and reviewed positively, but this stuff is rubbish, don't buy

Good value but poor flavour
Mixes well enough with a shaker but where did the flavour go? Caramel cheesecake has no recognisible flavour, just tastes sweet. Still, good value and does the job.

Plastic container would taste better!!
Definitely the worst protein shake I have ever had, I normally have Anabolic Gold but it wasn't available at the time of ordering.The consistency of this is like plaster of paris, mixes horribly and tastes like cardboard.Avoid this one at all costs, and spend a little more on Isolate instead.

Protein with lots of flavours
My husband loves this. Amazing price and sizes are big. Love the choice of different flavours. Very fast delivery and a great price

Price attracted me first but turned out to be a real bargain in fact I bought some more matrix protein right after I finished this one , it mixes well and is quite filling when used with milk , for those wanting slightly lower carb content check out their other 4kg protein options

Great bang for your buck!
I've been using this brand for years now and never had a bad one. This time I got the blueberry muffin. It tastes pretty good so far. This brand I have noticed dosen't mix as good as some other brands but for the price you can't complain. I normally only use Matrix for bulking as it's really cheap and I'm not bothered about the fat and carb content. Other brands may be better for some individuals and their training goals.
