Sony 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 FE OSS Interchangeable Standard Zoom Lens (Renewed)

Initially I thought the Sony 28-70mm lens I purchased from an Amazon reseller was an off-brand with Sony labeling on it. You know, possibly some cheap knock off. It appeared lighter than my original lens of the same type. However, now that I have put them side by side, I can confirm it is an actual OEM Sony Lens. I purchased this lens for my back-up Sony A7ii camera, which I use when I am unsure where I am going to be hanging out. If it gets lost or stolen, I won't cry. I have older Minolta lens for that camera, but they require a motorized adapter, which quickly drains the small battery that the Sony a7ii can handle. Plus the Minolta lenses cannot handle all of the focusing modes of a Sony lens. I took the lens and the Sony a7ii for a run today at our state botanical garden. These photos are the results and it performs just as well as my original 28-70mm lens. I've seen this lens on other websites at over $300 and couldn't justify the expense, since I had one copy of the lens already. But at less than $250, I snapped it up. It work perfectly well, and I am happy with it.
