Decent little dust extractor
Suction power is reasonable, Sucks up all dusts but can sometimes take a bit of time to suck up heavier items but they do go once the end is in the right position. I’d like to address a couple of issues I was worried by on previous reviews - sounds levels are fine, sounds like any vacuum cleaner. It doesn’t make any weird noises when running just as extraction, it does make a knocking sound at the end of the suction period when using the power takeoff to run tools and automatically turn extraction on - however this isn’t abnormally loud and no louder than a normal cleaner. What I have noticed though is that it takes a few seconds for the extraction to turn on so sometimes you miss the first bit of dust. Little annoying and could be fixed so easily. The other thing I was concerned about was the exhaust pointing up at your face(?) mentioned in previous reviews - there is no issue here if you have the unit on the floor, it’s only something I notice when I bend down over the back of the machine to turn it off or something - it does blow upward but doesn’t disturb the process, and the hose is so long that the extraction unit should be miles away from you anyway, so not an issue for me or most others I would guess. Don’t stick it on a bench facing away from you and stand over the back of it.. Final thing I was concerned about was the bag capacity, I thought it might take very little time to fill a bag, but actually I’ve done loads of extraction and vacuuming and had no issues with loss of suction or bags needing changed. It does feel a little cheap and light, but does the job and I haven’t had any issues over quite a lot of extraction so far. Fittings are also very cheap, but still do the job (except the vacuuming attachment, the brushes/wipers keep falling off, so I’ve swapped in my old makita one) all in all, pretty impressed for the price, does pretty much everything my previous makita did at a fraction of the price of the nearest class m device.

Disappointed with the quality of materials used and attachments from a brand like trend
I’m a bit torn with this extractor as it does the job well (I use it with a router table) but the build quality mainly the use of the plastic which feels cheap was underwhelming for me. Also the price of dust bags is very high and you need to replace them frequently if you use it for routing. The suction power is great with a very long hose but the supplied attachments and the quality of them are very bad so I use the attachment which I have left from my previous extractor. I started using it as I really needed an extractor to finish routing and did not want to wait days for an other one but now I regret not returning as there are other better options in the same price range out there. Also the handles and quality of plastic makes it unsuitable for something to use as a portable extractor - it is for workshop use.

Powerful workshop vacuum
Great workshop vacuum with power take off and vibration function that shakes down the waste material in the vac bag. Long mains lead and vacuum hose gives good reach and the ability to locat the vacuum for best possible positioning. Impressive power and using this with a battery powered circular saw I was impressed with the overall performance when compared with my old unit.

Poor build quality
Im dissappointe with the build quality of this. The hose has become detatched from the tool end and Ive taped it back together. The bag fills up really quickly and because its a paper neck to it tears easily when trying to empty it to reuse. It is light and easy to move around with a really long hose but my Henry is far better build quality for much much less money and also very much quieter into the bargain.

A decent product.
What I like is it has good filtration and a power take off for tools like routers up to 2.2kw and it is a fairly compact unit. What isn't so good is: 1 The hose and tools are of relatively poor quality. 2 The filter bags are expensive and not reusable and fill up very quickly . I have found an after market seller who makes a reusable bag for it. 3 there is no bag filter available even after market that I have found to go over the main filter to keep the bigger chunks off it like I have for my older Trend dust extractor. the bag filter is good to extend the life of the expensive main filters and negate the need to buy expensive disposable bags or reusable bags which need emptying.

Excellent workmans assistant
Great for all round site and DIY dust extraction. Filter cleaning cycle, auto on when connected to tool, great suction. Keep the hose straight and it will rarely block, easy to clear. Bags expensive.

Super vac
Perfect for my small workshop, not too noisy , good capacity at 27 litres. Like the ability to plug tools into vacuum for auto shut off . Very pleased with this extractor, decent value too!

Faulty
Brought the t35 for my small work shop so was excited to use the auto start function with my power tools and I liked that the hose was long so I could get round the workshop with ease unfortunately this particular unit was faulty. First impression out the box I thought the attachments seemed a bit cheap considering this vacuum is around £350 luckily I brought on Black Friday for £250. First start up you can tell it has the power behind it and was excited to use it. First day the auto start worked great for the first time only then the vacuum would constantly stay on when switched to this setting which was disappointing as this was the main reason I brought it so then had to manually turn it on every time I used it. Second thing is the bags that come with it also faulty. Followed the directions to install properly but the bag failed leaving the inside with dust. I thought maybe it was the bags so ordered a pack of 5 for £30 and then after being about 20% full they then also started to fail, again not what I was expecting from expensive bags in a vacuum worth £350. I ended up using my £50 titan back up vac to clean out the trend. Overall I’m just disappointed and decided to return and will look at a different brand, I’ve had trend routers and various tools in the past and really like the brand but this vacuum is a big let down for the price
