Do you use toothpaste or mouthwash with this brush please?

I use mouthwash first, then use toothpaste with this brush. Finish with regular toothbrush.

Can anyone advise the most suitable head protector would be for this product

I just stand mine upright in a tooth mug and use the measuring cap from a mouthwash bottle to cover it after dipping it in corsodyl. I don't really use them for long enough to worry about the head. I replace mine about every 2 - 3 weeks and if I need to travel, I take a new one with me. The bristles will splay quite quickly with regular use. Don't expect them to last as long as a toothbrush.

Yes you can use it for Wisdom Teeth. You need to do circular motions along the gum line.

can it be used on gums

You can't use it on the gum itself, but you can use it on the gum margin. It is to remove plaque between your teeth for tricky areas and to prevent cavities and gum disease. It does work from experience, highly recommended!
