It actually won't stop the door opening from the wooden floor. I suppose it provides double security, but you can't rely on it.

I edited my original review. (I ordered a similar one that needed improvement.) However, THIS ONE. Works like a charm! We got it because we have one furr baby that likes to shut a specific door and will accidentally lock himself in when we are away.
