Full Grain Thick Buffalo Leather Single Pen Case Holder Buffalo Red

The first couple of times I inserted my Lamy 2000 it was too tight and left some "dust" on the pen. The dust came off the pen with a little rubbing and I don't think there was any lasting damage at all.As other reviewers have noted, it definitely needs a little breaking in. I repeatedly (and vigorously) squeezed the sides until they met in the center for a couple of minutes. That was all it took to make it much more supple.I picked this style in part because I wanted the flap protection for the top of the pen.I think it will last a long time and provide great overall protection.

Rated 4 stars for leather quality and craftsmanship. The case is too narrow to fit full-sized fountain pens comfortably. A Montblanc Meisterstuck will barely fit (and is not easy to remove), but a Lamy Safari or AL-Star will only fit sideways. Perhaps the leather will stretch with use. DiLoro's double pen case is much nicer (I have five).

I luv the fact that I holder fits nicely in my hand, can grasp my pen easily, and quickly spotted in my purse!Something to think about - a magnetic flip for easier closure.

Nice way to protect your favorite pen and not lose it. Nice red color and well stitched.

Will keep your pen safe from scratches and easy to find.
